Snowshoe Walking

Snowshoes are a nature-friendly way to move through the unforgettable winter landscape. Snowshoes give you instant access to the forest and peaceful nature – no trails required. You can walk about on hilly terrain regardless of the conditions.

Winter in Finland, walking on snowshoes

After a brief introductory session, the snowshoes, which resemble giant tennis rackets, are easy to use and can be easily taken along wherever you go. Walking with snowshoes is at the same time effective exercise and great fun. To increase the effectiveness of your exercise, you might want to try Nordic Snowshoeing, where you assist your snowshoe walking by using poles. Equipment for snowshoe walking can be hired, and guides are also available.
