Explore Satakunta from Land & Sea

Satakunta awaits you with pleasant relaxation and adventures – let the quietness and peace resonate with you as you relax in the nature. The three national parks in different parts of the region contain some of the most beautiful and versatile nature Finland has to offer.  In case you are after more energetic experiences and activities, Satakunta offers many kinds of memorable things to do on land and out at sea.

Satakunta is located by the cleanest sea area at the coast of Finland – the Bothnian Sea. Its most significant population centre is located along the 150-kilometre long Kokemäenjoki River, with a nearly continuous 40-kilometre conurbation extending from Meri-Pori all the way to Harjavalta. The most north-eastern area of the region – the areas of Kankaanpää, Honkajoki and Karvia – has been called “The Lapland of Satakunta” due to its rugged nature. Scroll down to find the most thrilling nature experiences in Satakunta.
