Italy and France – mad about arctic

The spring 2013 image campaign topics include the archipelago and lighthouses, the relationship between people and nature, cruises on inland bodies of water and design in the middle of the wilderness. The midnight sun is a strong presence in all personal profiles. Visit Finland campaigns are being run in Italy and France as extensions for the image campaigns. The Visit Finland image campaigns create a good foundation for joint product campaigns between Finnish tourism agencies and foreign travel agents, especially when the products they market are naturally linked to the themes in the image campaign.

Lakeland Campaign highlights the blue gem of Finland. Visit Finland is carrying out a three-year advertising campaign to promote the gems of Lakeland, a large area in central Finland. Now in its third year, the campaign is aimed at the German-speaking population of Europe.

Go Cottage Campaign presents Finland’s picturesque cottage destinations. In a three-year advertising campaign, Visit Finland highlights the selection of cottage holidays in Finland. The campaign is aimed at the German-speaking population of Europe.

A Cultural Beat themed summer campaign will also be run in Germany.

The campaign was launched in November 2012 and it will go on the whole year 2013. At the first stage people were invited to register themselves to campaign site and proposed their candidature for a free testing holiday trip to Finland to different regions.
