PRODUCT CAMPAIGNS GET STRAIGHT TO THE POINT
The campaigns are used to raise interest in Finland and the product-related areas provide consumers with a way of purchasing a trip to Finland. Local organisations, transport companies and travel businesses may be involved in product campaigns. Foreign operators that organise travel to Finland can also gain visibility by participating in our product campaigns. Adverts direct visitors straight to our partners’ websites.
MAD ABOUT THE ARCTIC
Travellers want to experience at least one memorable adventure on their holidays. Finland’s nature offers the opportunity to experience amazing activities such as safaris or snowball fights in the city. Products include snowmobile and dog safaris as well as experiences related to snow and ice.

MEANINGFUL ENCOUNTERS 2014 – 2015
The “Meaningful encounters” concept will be used for campaigns in Europe and Asia. It will be localised for each country in a way that appeals to each culture.
Travel products offer experiences that are simultaneously simple and extreme. They get under your skin and touch the depths of your soul.
Winter campaigns to be run in Asia in autumn 2014
In Finland, everything is based on nature. People’s names, fashion, food, design. Everything. Campaigns will be run in Japan and China as continuations of the image campaigns. (Registration has ended.)
Summer campaigns to be run in Germany and Asia in spring 2015
The campaign in Germany includes a holiday centred around spiritual well-being.
Finland will build itself an image in Japan as a country where travellers can connect with themselves and with nature.
Finland will build itself an image in China as a country where travellers can experience something unique. Something extreme, magical and very natural.

The campaign in Germany will appeal to active families looking for a winter holiday.
In Italy and France, we will be attracting adventure-seekers looking for a winter holiday in a natural environment.
In the United Kingdom, we will run the Visit Finland winter campaign after the end of the three-year Lapland – North of Finland campaign.
Campaign participants receive:
• Online advertising
• Visibility on the VisitFinland.com campaign site and a link to the partner’s desired site
• The partner’s business partners receive visibility on the campaign site and a link to the desired address
• The main partner receives banner visibility in VisitFinland.com’s articles on the site for the target market
• The opportunity to purchase further visibility on the campaign site in selected articles. A summary of visitor volumes, visitors to pages in different languages, visitors by country and the most popular articles overall and by language here.
