Helsinki Congress Centre Paasitorni- Full service venue completed

The Meripaviljonki restaurant, opening for business in April 2015, will complete the full service package of Paasitorni congress centre.

The Meripaviljonki floating restaurant, to be built as an addition to a cultural treasure – the Paasitorni
congress centre – is a demonstration of Finnish ingenuity: the architectural design, other designers, three
contractors and the restaurateur realising this globally unique project are all Finnish. What is more, the
practical construction work is 90% Finnish.
Meripaviljonki’s modern architecture will bring a light touch to the impressive granite construction alongside
it. The building’s shape and glass walls will allow customers to enjoy the surrounding scenery and natural
light from morning till night.
