A Year of Change at the Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre
The Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre is going through major improvements in 2013. The 1,100-seated main seminar hall will be modernised and the restaurant world will be refurbished. Even the sales and customer service departments will be restructured.
In October 2016 opens a 78 metre-high hotel building with a convention centre for 1,000 people and 427 rooms.
Clarion Hotel Helsinki will stand out from the crowd. The two window-clad towers are connected by a transparent glass footbridge. The highest of the towers will reach a full 78 metres above sea level. A vantage point is being built at the top, with a breathtaking view over Helsinki for everyone.
Kämp Group, continues to develop its hotel offering in Helsinki.
The new luxury hotel, Hotel St. George, opens its doors in summer 2017 next to the Old Church Park at Yrjönkatu 13. The Kämp group also comprises the luxury and design hotel Klaus K, the high quality Hotel Haven and Hotel Fabian, the Hotel Lilla Roberts that opened in August.
In June 2017 Messukeskus Helsinki will host the world’s biggest annual meeting in the field of allergology and clinical immunology. Almost 8,000 guests are expected to attend the annual congress of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI).
-Messukeskus takes pride in the fact that our efforts finally paid off. With the help of our renewed facilities and improved technical and digital services, we are able to meet the high standards of the EAACI. We offer a well-functioning venue with easy access to both lectures and the exhibition. Networking with colleagues is also easy at our renewed premises, states Congress Manager Susanne Massingberd-Roinila from Messukeskus Helsinki.
