IOF Worldwide Conference of Osteoporosis Patient Societies, Helsinki

The 14th International Osteoporosis Foundation Worldwide Conference of Osteoporosis Patient Societies was organized May 31st – June 2nd 2013 at Helsinki Congress Paasitorni. The conference was attended by 140 delegates from 45 countries.

What was best about your congress?

The historical center provided a good setting for the meeting, with its multiple types of meeting rooms for break-out sessions and beautiful main congress hall.

Everything go well and why?

Everything went well. The participants all stayed at the adjoining hotel, which was extremely convenient for everyone.

How was the location?

The location of the center and the closeness of water and surrounding walking routes, gave the participants the opportunity to both visit the city and exercise outside the meetings. This was highly appreciated by the participants.

How were the people?

The Congress Center staff was efficient, friendly, professional and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure all aspects of the meeting were accommodated.

Anything you’d like to add?

IOF thanks the Congress Paasitorni team for their efficiency, friendliness and work in making the meeting in Helsinki a success!
