GETTING THERE

As you have probably already guessed, the quickest way of getting to Helsinki is by plane – flights from Sweden, for example, take just one hour. It’s virtually no time at all! Another nice option is to take in the Baltic Sea en route and travel to Helsinki by boat from Sweden – there are several tour operators running services from Sweden to Helsinki, and all offer the option of taking your own vehicle with you.

Once you are in Helsinki, you should have no difficulty getting around, as there are no long traffic jams, public transport runs smoothly and in abundance, the city is cyclist-friendly and the locals will be happy to help you get the most of your experience.
