Lake Inari Mobile Cabins

Overnight safely in a unique cabin on the Lake Inari ice, where your comfy bed gives you a great chance to watch the mystical Northern Lights. The cabins are moved in the evening and morning by snowmobile – while you enjoy the ride inside. During the day, the cabins stay at our base camp near Inari village, and you have chance to join our winter activities and enjoy tasty meals.

Mathildedal Hotel Ruukin Majatalo | Special Accommodation

Hotel Ruukin Majatalo, with just eight rooms, is an oasis of peace and gentle luxury. Each room is designed to breathe simplicity and industrial style, while maintaining every modern convenience. The hotel was previously an iron works, and the renovated building has kept much of its original character with high ceilings, wide windows, exposed brick work and stark décor. The rooms have simple furnishing, rainfall showers in private bathrooms and plenty of hidden luxury. The breakfast at Ruukin Majatalo is made with locally sourced ingredients and freshly baked traditional archipelago bread.

Aino Room – Inspired by Jean Sibelius' Home Ainola

2015 celebrated the 150th birthday of Jean Sibelius, Finland's national composer. To mark this event, we renovated one of our hotel rooms and named it after his wife Aino. We drew inspiration from Ainola, Jean and Aino Sibelius' home. The textiles, Sibelius' music and literature about their life create a unique experience to our guests. Overnight at the Snow Village

Spend a memorable night in an igloo! As the temperature in Snow Village stays between -2 to -5 C, a night in an igloo is both exotic and comfortable. Our cosy sleeping bags keep you snug and warm and the silence and beauty of the Snow Village makes for an unforgettable night! Before bed, enjoy a 3 course dinner sat at ice tables in the beautiful Snow Restaurant and explore the Snow Village's amazing sculptures, decorated rooms, corridors and Ice Chapel. After a memorable night and tasty breakfast in the wooden restaurant it's time to return to Levi by coach.

Arctic Lighthouse Hotel

The hotel is located on Hailuoto, the largest island in the Gulf of Bothnia. Nestled at the foot of a former lighthouse, it offers exceptional and expansive sea views across the gulf. This truly unique and utterly fascinating venue once served as a maritime pilot station. Hailuoto is the third largest Finnish sea island and the only one in the Bay of Bothnia that remains permanently inhabited, despite the absence of year-round road access. Hailuoto is connected to the mainland by a free ferry. Oulu International Airport is located close by.

Night at the Lighthouse

Full board stay at the Bengtskär lighthouse is an experience you will never forget! The package includes round trip boat transfer from Kasnäs with a visit to the Rosala Viking Centre on the way.

Villa Justiina

Justiina is a lakeside villa for 10 people in Kihniö, 100 km from Tampere. Enjoy a traditional cottage holiday in a well-equipped villa with 4 bedrooms, loft, kitchen, living room, bathroom and sauna. You can also enjoy the traditional wood heated sauna and hot tub by the lakeside. Great opportunities for fishing and other outdoor activities. The villa has a shared tennis court with Villa Hermanni.

Arctic Eye Lappish Igloo Moments

The Arctic Eye glass igloos by Santa's Hotels are intended for year-round use. You can find them in two locations in the middle of Finnish Lapland: in Luosto and in Rovaniemi. The Rovaniemi glass igloos are situated on the Arctic Circle. Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon related to solar winds, so we can't switch on this stunning light show, no matter how much we would like to, but we can provide the ultimate circumstances to learn and hopefully see them live during this trip. Enjoy a spectacular view over treetops in the unique suites of Arctic TreeHouse Hotel. Personal Aurora Alarm Realtime system will keep you informed via SMS when Auroras are visible during your stay in Rovaniemi. You can also visit a Lappish handicraft workshop.

Experience an unforgettable night in a Snow Igloo at Lucky Ranch. The location is perfect for stargazing and spotting the Northern Lights. At night, you can crawl into a warm sleeping bag and enjoy the silence. Indoor area and toilet are open during the night. Light breakfast included.

Overnight Stay in the SnowHotel

Sleeping overnight in the SnowHotel room, made completely of snow, beautifully lighted and decorated, will surely give you one of the most unique arctic experiences. The temperature is always around -5 degrees celsius but the comfortable bed with a white sheet and lambskin cover, a pillow, a fleece sheet and a sleeping bag designed for arctic conditions ensures a good night's sleep.

Kalajoki Nature and Culture Tour

Hike on ancient beach formations, sand dunes, forest trails and meandering river banks. Ride a bike along small roads and nature trails. See traces of local history, how a river can constantly change its course, sandbanks that lined ancient shores, and the living Finnish countryside. This three day tour includes accommodation and half board. You will be guided by a pre-programmed GPS device which acts as a map, compass and route description. A special Nature & Culture guide booklet with maps is also included.

Night in an Aurora Igloo Hut

Our new, modern Aurora Igloo Huts are specially made for watching the Northern Lights and the beautiful night sky. These Igloo Huts are like small apartments with own bathroom, small fridge, coffee machine, water heater and microwave. All you need to do is lie down and relax under the glass ceiling, and if you are lucky, you can be amazed by the dance of the Aurora Borealis!

Glass Igloos

Admire the Northern Lights and the starry sky in one of our world-famous Glass Igloos. Kakslauttanen's owner Jussi Eiramo invented the igloos in 1999, and the rest is history. It might be cold outside, but inside the igloo it's nice and cozy. The two-person igloos include an ensuite and have the option of an extra bed. Saunas and showers are available in separate buildings. The four-person igloos include their own showers. The glass igloos are available for accommodation throughout the Northern lights season, from 22 August till the end of April.

Unique Kylmäpihlaja Lighthouse Island

The Kylmäpihlaja lighthouse island is a ruggedly beautiful island of rocks that offers experiences by the open sea. Experience a night in the lighthouse tower on the edge of the open sea: all rooms have sea views. The restaurant serves various delicacies from the archipelago. The Kylmäpihlaja island is easily accessible in the summer, thanks to the daily water bus connection.
