During a homemade 2-course dinner, we have time to chat about the Finnish and especially Lappish way of life and share our experiences. Pick up point is in front of Levi Tourist Information. Paateri

Experience the wonderful Paateri Chapel and the home and studio of sculptress Eva Ryynänen. Paateri is located in the beautiful village of Vuonislahti, about 25 kilometres from the Lieksa town centre.

Alvar Aalto Church – Guided Tour

The Church of the Three crosses in Imatra is a masterpiece of modern architecture by Alvar Aalto. This church was completed in 1957. It is said to be Aalto's most original church design. It is named after the three white crosses at the altar. The building consists of three consecutive halls which can be separated by sliding walls; this enables parts of the church to be used for parish activities during the week. The exterior of the church is white with a copper roofing. DOCOMOMO has listed the church as a significant example of modern architecture in Finland.

Neristan, the Old Town of Kokkola

Near the Kokkola city centre lies one of our country’s most extensively preserved historical areas of wooden houses. The town plan is from the 1650s. It consists of 12 blocks with hundreds of wooden houses and outbuildings. The oldest are from the 17th century.

Adventure in B&B Kirjakkala Ironmills Village

In Teijo National Park you can experience Finnish nature on a mini-scale; lakes, forests, marshes, streams and the sea. The National Park is also a gateway to the archipelago. There's more than 50 km's of marked trails with cooking shelters along the way. You can trek, cross-country ski, fish, cycle, pick berries and mushrooms or go wild swimming. Kirjakkala Ironmills village was established in 1600's and tells you the story of Finnish industrialization. The environment has been preserved for more than 300 years. Old buildings are in new use as accommodation now.

Samiland Exhibition

The Samiland exhibition explores the Sami peoples' thousands of years of history, culture and mythology. Visit the indoor exhibition to find out about the differences between the Skolt Sami and the Mountain Sami as well as about the traditional occupations and ancient mythical characters of the Sami people. The outdoor exhibition will teach you more about traditional Sami buildings and reindeer herding.

Ski Museum – Snow Fun All Year Round

The Lahti Ski Museum is situated at the Lahti Sports Centre, only a short walk from Lahti city centre. The interactive section of the museum offers snow sports fun for all ages – all year round! Experience the thrill of ski jumping safely in a simulator, or challenge yourself or your team in cross-country skiing or biathlon. Be it summer or winter, gather a group of friends and arrange a memorable event at the interactive section of the Ski Museum. Include a visit to the Lahti Ski Jump Tower and make it a day to remember! The museum is under renovation and opens in January 2017!

History and Nature – Vallisaari and Suomenlinna Sea Fortress

Two of the most important island groups of the Helsinki archipelago are Vallisaari and Suomenlinna. Vallisaari was closed to the public nearly 400 years and was opened to visitors in spring 2016. The island's untouched nature and history are unique; Vallisaari has also almost 1000 different species of butterflies, for instance. Our walking tour is about 3 km long and after that, the journey will continue by boat to the nearby Suomenlinna sea fortress, where we take a short walking tour and finish with a picnic.

Alvar Aalto and Alma in Seinäjoki

Learn about Alvar Aalto's modern architecture & design with a private guide and stay in a Jugend style (Art Nouveau) hotel. Alvar Aalto was a Finnish architect and designer - an important figure of modern architecture. Seinäjoki cultural and administrative centre with six buildings belongs to his most remarkable achievements and is unique in the whole world. A Day at UNESCO World Heritage Site Kvarken

Korsholm Music Festival invites you to a guided full-day tour, including sightseeing, lunch, a concert and an excursion at a World Heritage Site! The day starts with departure from Vaasa City Hall by bus with a guide. The bus takes you over the longest bridge in Finland, The Replot bridge, to a nice local restaurant in the Archipelago. The concert takes place in the middle of the Archipelago and afterwards, it is possible to take a guided boat excursion or a walk to the Saltkaret lookout tower.

Kotka City Parks

Kotka is known as a city by the sea, but also for its lovely parks that are spread across the city. Proximity to the sea and several well-maintained parks and other green areas make the centre of Kotka definitely worth a visit. With a few kilometres walk, you can enjoy the most noteworthy parks: Katariina Seaside Park, Sapokka Water Garden, Sibelius Park, Isopuisto Park, Linden Esplanade and Sculpture Promenade on Keskuskatu.
