Make Your Own Souvenir! Upcycling & Design Workshop

Make your stay in Helsinki unforgettable by getting a hands-on experience in Finnish upcycling & design. Participate in an inspiring eco-friendly handicraft workshop and create your own Helsinki design souvenir from recycled materials. It is a great way to relax your mind and boost your creativity at the same time. This activity is perfectly suited for individual travellers and couples as well as families with children. We also organize free workshops for underpriviledged and refugee children and their families. The workshop is available in English, German and Finnish. Feel good – do good!

Experience Workshop: a Small Art Textile with Natural Materials

In this workshop, we weave a small art textile into a prepared ribbon warp using different kinds of straws, twigs, and branches. We begin with a trip to the nature surrounding the Loikansaari estate to collect materials, after which we can already start weaving in the cosy main room of the farmhouse. If the weather is good, the entire workshop can be held outside. You will have a chance to take a look at the wonderful products of the Manor Boutique and do some shopping as well.

Guided Tour at Turku Art Museum

Deepen your art experience with a guided tour! Our professional guides will kindly plan a tour that fits your interests: be it an introduction to Finnish art in our collections or the themes of the current temporary exhibition. Our guides will also share the secrets of the museum building with you. Tour duration is about one hour. Languages: Finnish, Swedish, English, Russian. Group size: 1–25 persons.

Discovering Finland in Porvoo (6–7 hours)

Explore the old city of Porvoo, learn about its history, and walk along the old streets and forest paths. Then we will visit a local shop and buy all produce we need to cook Finnish specialties together. Upon our arrival to the kitchen, a professional chef will explain how we will proceed during the next hours. The chef will tell us where the recipes come from and what they contain. Everyone will participate and several dishes will be made simultaneously. When everything is ready, we will taste the dishes together in an atmosphere of pure Finnish bliss.

Guided Tour

In summer we offer a guided tour in English on Wednesdays and Saturdays . Our tour of the Sibelius exhibition takes you on a journey through Finnish music and with the life of Finland’s national composer Jean Sibelius (1865-1957). We also tell the musical trends of Turku at that time, which of Sibelius’ friends lived in Turku, and why Turku hosts the only true Sibelius museum in Finland. The tour takes approximately 45 minutes, and it is included with your ticket.

Finnish Food Walk

Welcome to have a taste of Helsinki with us at the best market places and local shops & cafes it offers. You will taste for example salmon, cheese, reindeer and the famous salted candy: salmiakki. There's also time for food souvenir shopping and superfood shots!

Helsinki Highlights in 6 Hours

The Song of the Sisters

The Song of the Sisters is a guided tour in the medieval abbey church of Naantali. Our product offers a unique, contemplative, warm, and genuine approach into local history. Walking Tour with Lady Starck

Lady Starck, the captain's wife takes us on a walking tour through the 19th century town with wooden houses and tells about the town's maritime history as well of the families and houses of her acquaintances and neighbours.

Viking Village Tour

The entrance fee to the Viking Centre includes a guide map for the village and all exhibitions. For a richer experience you can book a guide for the tour, and we will also teach you how to throw a Viking axe!

Experience Vantaa's Best Sights in One Day

Join and marvel at the wonders of science in the Finnish Science Centre Heureka. See pure nature and lake views at Kuusijärvi. Fazer Experience Visitor Centre can be explored with all your senses. This one-day tour is an easy way to explore a number of fascinating sights that have been selected carefully and are available all year round. The tour includes transportation and entry to all sights.

Juminkeko Exhibition

Juminkeko – Kalevala's Nest The Juminkeko building is a prime example of modern Finnish wood architecture. It is designed by the internationally acclaimed Finnish architects Mikko Heikkinen and Markku Komonen. The permanent exhibition at Juminkeko displays sculptures that portray Kalevala's translators and Viena Karelian rune singers. Juminkeko also hosts changing exhibitions on Kalevala and Karelian culture.

Self-Driving: National Park Tour Lakes – 9 Days

Explore the Secrets of Örö Island

The fortress island of Örö has been a part of Finnish military history from the times of Russian tsars. The island was closed off from the public until 2015 and only restricted entry was possible. Örö has around 20 km of hiking and nature trails. The island is home to many rare plants and has the largest variety of butterflies in all of Finland. The hotel and restaurant are renovated in protected old buildings. You can rent kayaks and bicycles on the island. Come and explore the fortress island!
