A Day at UNESCO World Heritage Site Kvarken

Korsholm Music Festival invites you to a guided full-day tour, including sightseeing, lunch, a concert and an excursion at a World Heritage Site! The day starts with departure from Vaasa City Hall by bus with a guide. The bus takes you over the longest bridge in Finland, The Replot bridge, to a nice local restaurant in the Archipelago. The concert takes place in the middle of the Archipelago and afterwards, it is possible to take a guided boat excursion or a walk to the Saltkaret lookout tower.

Evening Cruise with Steamship Ukkopekka

During summer evenings Steamship Ukkopekka sails from Turku to the fascinating small island of Loistokari. Have fun with the elves! Experience: undercrossing of the Arctic Circle and meet Ice Princess in her Ice Gallery. At the Elves Post Office find weird machinery, that works with children’s kind thoughts. Drive the Fairytale Train as many times as you want, visit Santa Claus in his office, learn useful skills in the Elf School and decorate gingerbread cookies in Mrs. Gingerbread’s Bakery. SantaPark Café offers lunch in winter and mouthwatering delicacies, while the elves present their dance show at the main stage.

Overnight in Hotel Krapi & Bicycle Tour Around Beautiful Lake Tuusulanjärvi

What better than a bike tour? A bicycle path of 25 kilometres circles the lake. Along the way, you'll find much to see and do; museums (such as the Artist Homes Halosenniemi, Ahola and Ainola), cafés, restaurants, wonderful shops, the Sarvikallio recreational area, disc golf and beaches. Lend a bike & take a picnic basket along from the hotel. After the tour, you can bathe the dust off in the hotel's sauna and have dinner at one of the summer restaurants. The Secret of Antlers - Workshop

We will be happy to tell you about our traditions and, particularly, about reindeer antler work! After our performance, everyone will have an opportunity to make his/her own souvenir from a reindeer antler. Visitors will also be able to familiarize themselves with a Lappish log-built home. Did you know reindeer antler is not only a raw material for Lappish utility and decorative pieces but also an ecological material since the reindeer sheds its antlers annually? After visiting us, you will not only know about antler handling but will also experience Finnish hospitability!

Walk with Helene in Snappertuna

Dramatic guided tour with artist Helene Schjerfbeck, who spent time in the village between 1890 and 1891. The tour also includes the Snappertuna church and museum. Take time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Lover's Walk, which runs from the village to the Raseborg Castle ruins. The Raseborg castle dates back to the 1370's and was restored by Helenes brother in 1890 -1893. Plan for a full day out and enjoy a meal at the Castle Guard's Lodge (Slottsknektens stuga) which has served visitors since 1893. The restaurant and cafeteria serve local produce lovingly prepared in their own kitchen.

Seaview cottages with activities for the whole family

We have a total of 10 cottages, from smaller cottages for 4 people up to bigger ones for 10 people; all with a seaview. There's a lot of activities for the whole family: sauna by the beach, swimming, fishing, rowing, paddling, minigolf, playgrounds and a forest with berries and mushrooms to pick. All activities are for free.

WineExpo: Wine Lover's day

Finland's largest event for wine professionals and wine enthusiasts In the year 2016 WineExpo also includes spirits. There are plenty of activities and several interesting lectures by top names in the wine world.

Lappish Restaurant Saaga

The Shorter Way is a smaller selection based on our longer menu, The Journey. The Shorter Way is suitable for a quick evening, and paired with the right wines it is the perfect introduction to Nordic cuisine.

Museum Tour & Lunch

Enjoy a lovely lunch from Rauhala's traditional lunch buffet and learn about the history of Rauhala itself. You can also take a guided tour at the Oulu Art Museum or at the Northern Ostrobothnia Museum (duration about 1 hour). Both museums are at walking distance of 5-10 minutes from Rauhala.

Reindeer Herders' Banquet

Enjoy an evening with local food and lovely scenery in the peaceful Kopara restaurant. Your evening starts with welcome drinks, followed by a three course meal. Whilst you are enjoying your starter, our chef will tell you about reindeer cuisine. Following this you will be invited outside to check the night sky for Northern Lights. Afterwards we will serve the main course with the chef carving the meat. Whilst doing this he will explain more about reindeer meat as well as about local fish and their origins. The dessert will be served after the main course.

Restaurant Teatteri

At the starting point of the Esplanadi park you can watch the world go by while sipping your morning coffee or the last drink in the wee hours. And everything in between. This interesting combination of restaurants consists a grill, a theatre bar, Kellobaari lounge, a club and a wine & deli.

Evening Vesper in Naantali

The evening vesper is played from the Naantali church tower every evening at 8 pm from 1 June to 31 August. As eight o'clock nears in the old town harbour, a traditional drummer, Trumputtaja, plays a beat dating back to the 19th century, asking everyone to quiet down for the evening vesper. This beautiful and soulful tune is played in three directions; to the president, to the town and to the sea.

Harmooni Menu

Restaurant Harmooni is situated in a historical building near the Jyväskylä railway station. The traditional Harmooni Menu is a symphony of taste, with updated classics reminiscent of the history of Halosen Harmoonitehdas (the old organ factory), enlivened by the Halonen family’s roots in Savonia.

Weekend at Kettukallio Elämystila

A weekend in Kettukallio includes accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, activities, a smoke sauna and a hot tub. We have different activities which we have altered to suit our foreign guests. The activities include Finnish traditions and products.
