Kermikkä - Guided Reindeer Farm Visit

During this reindeer farm visit you will have an interesting view into the local lifestyle and reindeer herder's way of life. You will get to know adorable animals, feed them yourself and have a chance to take wonderful pictures with them. While you are enjoying strong coffee and delicious homemade pastries in the cozy kota, your host will tell you fascinating facts about reindeer husbandry and show you some pictures from the farmer's family album. Duration of the visit is around one hour.

Nuuksio National Park

The Shorter Way is a smaller selection based on our longer menu, The Journey. The Shorter Way is suitable for a quick evening, and paired with the right wines it is the perfect introduction to Nordic cuisine.

Stopover Special with a Local

Spend worry-free one and a half days with a Local during your stopover! You'll meet your Local at the airport and you will travel to your accommodation in Helsinki. Later during the day, you will have an introduction tour, followed by a dinner in a restaurant either recommended by a Local or in a restaurant of your choice. You will have plenty of time to discuss the local lifestyle and Finnish culture. The next day, you will have a Day With A Local (6 hours) with desired activities. A Local will help you to make the most of your stopover.

Guided walk in Tammisaari Old Town

Tammisaari, one of Finland’s oldest cities, is also one of the most interesting places in the Western Uusimaa. The old wooden houses tell stories of people who used to live there, not to mention the artist Helene Schjerfbeck whose life is strongly associated with Tammisaari. Come and enjoy this historical guided walk with us!

Craft – a Touch of Life

The permanent exhibition at the Craft Museum of Finland takes you on a trip to the past, to things perhaps familiar from your own childhood, like darning or mending a beloved woolly jumper. Crafts evoke memories from school years, be it after the war or only recently. The traditional Finnish death shirts provoke thoughts on how we would like to be dressed on our final journey. Customized Reino slippers, men's beard jewellery and knit graffiti represent today's trends.

Kuopio Marathon

The Kuopio Marathon is the largest sporting event in Eastern Finland. There are several distances and series to choose from, so whether you are an athlete or an amateur, you can find a distance and a series that suits you the best.


Restaurant Töölönranta is a stylish place to meet friends. The airy dining room and the comfy bar with a fireplace offer a tableau of changing seasons towards the Hesperia park and Töölönlahti bay. The Töölönranta kitchen is modern Scandinavian with European influences.

Finnish Castles – One Day in Hämeenlinna

We offer you a trip to one of the oldest cities in Finland, rich with military and cultural history! During the tour, we will visit the main attractions of the city: the Town Hall Square, the Main Cathedral, built on the model of the Pantheon temple, see the wooden houses, as well as the home of Jean Sibelius - the greatest Finnish composer. We will have a look at the medieval castle and the "Finnish Taj Mahal", which has its incredible stories about beautiful love, knights and ghosts. We will visit the Olympic Village and glance at a real prison.

Helsinki-Vantaa Airport Layover with a Local

This is your worry-free possibility to see the highlights of Helsinki and get a local insight within limited hours during your layover in Helsinki! You will meet your Local in the arrivals hall. Afterwards you'll travel to Helsinki by public transportation and do a combined walking & tram tour in the city. The key element is interaction with a Local. Your Local takes care of the timetables and opening hours, and all you need to do is to tell, what you would like to do!

Summer Photo Tour: National Parks of Finland

Forests and lakes in the middle of summer, when forests are dark green and water in the lakes warm for swimming. You will be staying in cottages by the most beautiful lakes and have landscape and sunset photographing workshops in the National Parks of Repovesi, Linnansaari and Koli. Guided by landscape photographer Valentino Valkaj.

Wartime Memories

On this tour your Local leads you through the wartimes during Finnish independence and how Helsinki was like from a local's point of view during the second World War. You can choose from a 6 hour or a 3 hour tour. On both tours we will go back to the times of the Winter War (1939-1940) and the Continuation War (1941-1944). We will visit the Military Museum (additional cost). It is also possible to combine a theme related RIB Boat tour to this tour in summertime (additional cost). On the 6 hour tour we will also have a theme related lunch (additional cost).
