Forest Bath 2 hours from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport

Yoga for Hikers

Start or finish your hiking day in Hossa National Park with yoga! The practice is perfectly suited to take care of your body and mind before and after a hike in the surrounding nature – why not on the way as well. Your path will be lighter and easier after a yoga class. Also, your muscles and body will recover faster after a hike if you take a yoga class where you surrender yourself to deep yoga stretches. The classes take place at Hossa Visitor Center during the summer and autumn.

Finnish cuisine is known for generally combining traditional country fare and haute cuisine with contemporary continental style cooking. Fish and meat play a prominent role in traditional Finnish dishes from the western part of the country, while the dishes from the eastern part, for example Karelia, have traditionally included various vegetables and mushrooms. During this tour you learn more about Finnish cuisine and also get to know the Finnish culture and locals. The delicious food is local and lot of the products are organic!

Traditional Finnish Smoke Sauna Experience

There is nothing more Finnish than sauna. Experience traditional wood heated Smoke sauna and take a dip in the clean and clear water Lake Saimaa, fourth largest natural freshwater lake in Europe. Smoke sauna is traditionally heated up for 6 hours and therefore offers a gentle heat. Leave your everyday rush for a moment and let the time stand still just to enjoy the atmosphere. Throw water on the stove and let the steam refresh you! You will get sauna instructions on the spot.

Spa Fontanella

Fontanella is fun for all ages! The warm spa is full of nice surprises. We will take good care of you and make you feel pampered. The spa has ten different pools from which to choose a wonderful spa experience. Rock on the large wave pool's big swells, gentle bubbles and massaging jets relax your muscles or you can try aquatic running or swimming for exercise in the fitness pool. We have one of Finland's longest water slides and children have their own pools that have water spraying animal characters and a mushroom cottage with toys. There's also a new restaurant-cafe.

The gentle heat of a traditional Finnish sauna brings pleasure, peace, and relaxation and has many healing effects. With us, you will get in touch with the spirit of the Finnish sauna and learn about ancient sauna traditions. Enjoy the friendly heat of our wood-heated sauna and refresh in the cooling waters of the lake – in the wintertime, you can even try ice-swimming. After the sauna, you can enjoy wild Arctic food by a campfire next to the lake. Duration 4 hours.

The Power of Flowers

Join us for an unforgettable wild-crafting adventure through the beautiful fields of Frantsila Organic Herb Farm, where you will learn the secrets of the healing herbs and flowers that surround us. This four hour, guided foraging tour will wind through our organic herb and flower fields, as well as through original farm buildings, which have been in the same family for over three hundred years. During the tour, you will have an opportunity to pick your own selection of herbs and and flowers, which you will then hand-craft into your very own, custom healing oil to take home.

Wellness from Lappish Nature

Trekking, wild herb & berry picking, fishing and the silence of clean Lappish nature! After meeting your guide and receiving all proper clothing for the nature trip, we drive to a forest near Rovaniemi. Our experienced guide leads you to the world of wild herbs, berries and mushrooms; depending of the season we'll pick wild herbs, cloudberries, blueberries, lingonberries or cranberries. After picking this Lappish superfood, it's time to relax and have a break by an open fire and prepare traditional pancakes. Before heading back to city, you can try your luck with the fish.

Peat Sauna for Couples

Relaxing peat sauna treatments for couples in the only public sauna of Turku. Before entering the sauna, bathers take a shower and wash with peat soap. After warming up in the sauna, their skin is covered with functional peat in the washroom. Then bathers drink fresh water, and enjoy the caressing warmth of the sauna again. Total treatment time 35 minutes. The bathers then wash using only water. Finnish herb tea completes the treatment. We also sell pure and organic Finnish body care products, suitable for everyday use.
