Half-Day Husky Tour

On this tour you will get to experience how to handle a team of sled dogs, and to be a part of that team. You can choose to drive together with a friend, one sitting in the sled and one driving, or with a single sled. Either way, it will be a joyful ride. Keep your hands in the handbar and mush!

Fishing Package at River Kokemäenjoki

Cosy Finnish Mölkky Evening

Mölkky is a Finnish game played with throwing pins. It is easy and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. During the Mölkky Evening you will learn to play the game with your local hosts. You are invited to their home to have a snack and beverages during the game evening. Most homes can host 1–4 guests, some up to ten. Bigger groups are divided to several locations. Mölkky is an outside game and can be replaced by indoors activity if the weather is poor. No special clothing is needed; comfort is key.

Meeting Santa (December, by Appointment only)

We travel to Santa’s hidden cottage in an old Lappish village. First we will get to know Santa’s reindeers and enjoy a 1 km sled ride, then you will visit the old farm and hear stories of the past and present. You also get a chance to feed the young reindeers. It’s then time to meet Santa in his cottage. Santa will also bring greetings from Mrs Santa and as a small gift from her, he gives all children homemade gingerbread cookies and chocolate. Santa will tell you stories about himself, his elves and Christmas. At the end of the visit, you can also take a picture with Santa.

Kayak Adventure

A guided kayak tour around Lake Päijänne. Experience pure nature and Finnish traditions: paddling, sauna, hiking, fishing, swimming, local specialities and more. Included are 2 nights with traditional accommodation, 1 night in hotel, 4 nights in tent, full board, kayak equipment, sauna and guides.

Aurora Hunting in the Pure Air of Pallas National Park

The cleanest air in Europe has been found in Pallas-Ylläs National Park, just 40 minutes from Levi. It is also one of the best places to spot the Northern Lights! Join our search for the Aurora Borealis while enjoying an easy walk in some of Lapland’s most breathtaking, untouched fell nature. We will also make a fire with our wilderness guide and enjoy hot drinks and sausages grilled over the open fire.

Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park - Yllästunturi Visitor Centre

Kellokas Visitor Centre in Yllästunturi is nature window of all visitors in Ylläs. The centre provides information on Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, Finland's oldest hiking trail and on accommodation, events, vibrant fell villages, and other popular features of the fell area. The centre is located by a scenic fell road in the wilderness connecting the villages of Ylläsjärvi and Äkäslompolo.

Helsinki Eastern Loop E-Bike Tour

The areas east of Helsinki have a lot of traditional farming landscapes but also dense protected forests. A lot of elks and deer roam here. Ride your e-bike on quiet country roads and visit small towns. Quench your thirst with some first-class craft beer from local breweries. Now that sounds like a great e-bike holiday! Highlights: Sipoonkorpi National Park, Viikki bird sanctuary, traditional farmland and forests, Porvoo old town, Tuusulanjärvi Lake and old villas, etc.

Canoe Tour on Ounasjoki

This is a wonderful canoeing trip for nature lovers! Paddling is an easy way to travel in the wilderness. We meet at Levi and take you to Taivaanvalkeat. We'll have a small tour in the yard and enjoy the Lappish architecture. Before we start to paddle, the guide teaches you the necessary paddling technique. And then, down the river we go!

Day with a Local

Explore Helsinki with a local! A Local is your host and tour guide of the day (6 hours). You can choose what you would like to do or leave the planning to a Local. Your day is a combination of local life and highlights of Helsinki. Interaction with a Local is the key element. You will discuss about the topics you are interested in and there is enough time for taking photos and enjoying the atmosphere. You can meet the Local in the port or hotel lobby for your convenience.

Nature Trips

On the first day you'll be accommodating at Nestorinranta, followed by an independent fishing trip by a rowing boat or a canoe trip to Rokansaari ponds on the next day. On the third day you can do an independent bicycle trip to the highest point of the archipelago, finishing the last day with a morning walk in the nearby forest.

Floating in the Rapids

Through freezing weather and snow-covered shores, make your way to the open rapids and go with the flow! Drift away in the gently flowing rapids – even in -30°C. Equipped with floatation suits, life vests, and helmets, you can enjoy the exciting event in full! Duration 2 x 15 min. Hot drinks are served before returning to Ruka by car. Minimum height 160 cm required.

Evening Snowmobile Safari

This safari is suitable for beginners: we drive on an easy cross-country route and stop to enjoy coffee and buns on the way. The price includes equipment and coffee with bun. Duration: 1.5 hours. Distance covered: 25 km.

Evening Cruise in the Enchanting Waters Around Naantali

Enjoy Naantali out on the sea. Nothing really compares to the feeling when the beautiful evening sunshine reflects off the Baltic Sea. This is how Naantali was meant to be experienced. Join a 90-minute leisurely evening cruise on M/S Aavatar. Departures from the Old Town harbour on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1st to 29th July at 7 pm. Tickets can be purchased beforehand from the Visit Naantali office or from our website.

Fishing on Lake Inarijärvi

Lake Inarijärvi is especially suited for trolling enthusiasts as well as grayling fishing. You should look for brown trout and arctic char in the quickly deepening edges on the banks – a nautical chart or sonar helps. Grayling can be found throughout the lake. Whitefish is the most common catch for fly fishers.
