Fox Trail in Repovesi National Park (3 h)

Guided Hiking in Repovesi National Park Hike the park's most popular path, the Fox Trail. During the tour, your guide tells you about Finnish nature. You also learn Finnish cooking by preparing a picnic. The tour gives you an insight into Finnish nature. Highlights: Suspension bridge Campfire picnic Ferry The hike is easy and covers about 5 km.

Silent Twilight

Day sets for night, the ski slopes shut off their lights, and it's our turn to take over the slopes. Walking along the silent slope sides, we listen to the peace and quiet of the night while keeping breaks to admire the beauty of the night sky. Sit down and listen to the fire crackle while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate and snacks. If we're lucky, we might even see the Northern Lights perform their dance in the night sky!

Full Day Scenic Wilderness Safari

This safari takes you to one of the most beautiful snowmobile routes of the area and to the top of Kuntivaara (481 m). From the top you have a view over Paanajärvi National Park in Russia. We have delicious soup lunch en route. Have the joy of driving with excellent snowmobiles in picturesque landscapes!

Northern Lights Snowmobile Hunt

There are many ways to get out of the city and see the Auroras, but for the adventurous, nothing compares to the snowmobile. Riding across the snow under the stars is a real thrill. Arrive at a remote outdoor fireplace, where the guide will tell you all about the Northern Lights as you grill sausages over the fire and drink hot juice. And with a little luck, the Northern Lights will fill the sky...

Icebreaker Cruise in Lapland

The biggest icebreaker in Lapland! This 3-hour icebreaker cruise includes a tour all way down to the engine rooms and all way up to the Captain’s bridge. Before returning to the harbor, we will make a stop for a walk on the frozen sea and float on the dark icy water in survival suits. The captain will present a Cruise and Swim certificate to everyone as a memorable gift. Online booking available! Cruise departures: 10:30 and 14:00 Finnish time

Ice Karting – Powerslide on an Ice Track

Maneuver a go-kart on a snowy ice track! You are provided with complete winter driving gear: thermal overalls, shoes, gloves, hood, and helmet. Warm juice is served throughout the program. Minimum height 140 cm. Duration about 1 hour, including a short transfer.

Ski Ticket to Laajis

Laajis was voted as the best local ski resort of the year in 2014. We are one of the most advanced resorts in Finland for freestyle skiing and snowboarding. Our three parks and 12 pistes offer challenges from beginners and pro shredders. Our ski school has been teaching people to ski over 50 years.

Lohijoki Ltd. Fishing Packages at River Kokemäenjoki

We offer fishing packages (6h, with 3 guides) with three types of fishing: spin fishing, fly fishing and boat fishing The package includes: boat transportation and guiding, lifejackets and fishing licences, all the fishing gear (fly and spin). Dining takes place at Lohijoki Ltd’s private fishing area, with grilled salmon, salad and coffee. Fishing packages are available from May to September (depending on weather and flood). Customers are responsible for their own clothing. Recommended clothing: wind and waterproof. Our guides speak Finnish and English.

Spa Fontanella

Fontanella is fun for all ages! The warm spa is full of nice surprises. We will take good care of you and make you feel pampered. The spa has ten different pools from which to choose a wonderful spa experience. Rock on the large wave pool's big swells, gentle bubbles and massaging jets relax your muscles or you can try aquatic running or swimming for exercise in the fitness pool. We have one of Finland's longest water slides and children have their own pools that have water spraying animal characters and a mushroom cottage with toys. There's also a new restaurant-cafe.

Twilight Drive

Just wait until the day sets for night, and we are ready to go. Driving by the snowmobile lights in the peaceful twilight, we stop to admire the magnificent night sky with millions of stars. And you never know if we might be lucky enough to drive under the Northern Lights on our way back.

Aurora Borealis Safari by Snowmobile

Experience the Arctic night by driving through a snow-covered forest and on the frozen sea. With a little luck, you’ll travel under a bright sky lit by the moon and the stars. Perhaps the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights – will appear to show you the way. Sip warm beverages by a campfire and learn more about the Northern Lights and Lapland.

Aurora Watching at the Snow Village

Board the coach to the breath taking Snow Village. Upon arrival enjoy a fascinating Northern Lights film in the snow theatre, and learn more about how they are built. We will search for our own glimpse of the Northern Lights and if luck is on our side, may see them ourselves! Either way, the Snow Village guided tour of the decorated suites, sculptures and ice restaurant will surely feast your eyes. Hot juice will be served during the trip. Return to Levi by coach.

Archipelago Weekend Hideaway

Spend two nights on the island of Nagu, the port to the Archipelago trail, at a charming little B&B situated in the countryside village of Gyttja. Take bicycle rides on the small local roads, perhaps visit the seaside village of Kirjainen, or even the main village of Nagu, where you can find many restaurants, shopping huts and the hustle and bustle of the guest harbor in summer time. After a day of activities, you can relax at Västergård B&B's outdoor jacuzzi and garden sauna, and enjoy a delicious warm meal.

Kauhaneva-Pohjankangas National Park

Wild windswept bogs extend to the west from the old medieval road that leads north through the pine forests of Kyrönkangas. This is a great place for birdwatching, especially in the springtime when songbirds fill the woods and marshes. The marshes offer a chance to relax and recharge among nature throughout the year.

Life as a Reindeer Herder

Experience the life of a Sámi reindeer herder. Your journey starts at herder's home, where you snuggle into the snowmobile's sledge and join the herder to feed his reindeer in the forest. You may help feed the reindeer or just enjoy their company. Take a seat among the reindeer and enjoy a fresh coffee, brewed on the open fire. The feeding station offers an excellent opportunity to both observe and photograph the reindeer in the nature. The program lasts 2–3 hours, depending on the reindeer's location. Reservations on the previous evening at the latest.

Hiking in Western Lapland – Self-Guided 7 days / 6 nights

This 7-day self-guided hiking holiday takes place mainly in the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, where you walk through boreal old-growth forests, rocky ravines, and cloudberry-rich marshes, along clear lakes and streams. You will easily reach fell tops to admire beautiful landscapes out in the wilderness. Both summer and autumn offer wonderful color contrasts. The fell area in Western Lapland is verified to have Europe’s cleanest nature and air, and here you can certainly enjoy the silence. Bathe in the golden light of the midnight sun and enjoy the Finnish sauna after your hike!

Aurora's Whispers – Northern Lights Fact and Fiction

Did you know that Hankasalmi is one of the most significant places for Aurora Borealis research? Learn facts and fiction about the Norhern lights at the Sirius Observatory in Hankasalmi. Learn wether Auroras make sound, for instance. Afterwards we take our cameras and go chase Auroras on lake Virmas. Weather permitting, we will admire the colourful Auroras and thousands of stars in the dark blue sky. Afterwards we'll enjoy some warm refreshment by the open fire in a Finnish kota (forest hut).
