Hossa is a paradise for anyone keen to go fishing or canoeing in natural waters surrounded by wild green forests. Hossa also has hospitable trails and other facilities to welcome visitors. The Hossa fishing waters have naturally strong perch and whitefish stocks. The ponds and lakes are ideal for fishing from the shore, and rowboats may be rented from the Nature Centre. The Hossanjoki river area is 5 km long and it contains ten different rapids with naturally strong grayling stocks. Catch-size trout is also planted into the river. Hossa has been nominated to be a national park by summer 2017.
