The Short Silence Trek introduces you to the practices of forest bathing and ecotherapy. Relax and open your senses by listening, seeing, feeling, touching, tasting and connecting – and feel the effects on your wellbeing!

Wer mag, kann sich auch künstlerisch oder kulinarisch betätigen und karelische Köstlichkeiten oder Roggenbrot backen.

Forest Bath

The old farmhouse is surrounded by diverse nature. Pine forests, groves, gorgeous spruce forests and the swamp of Syöliö are magnificent places to discover the secrets of the peaceful forest. The healing effect of the forest is miraculous! The nature track of Iloranta allows you to experience the magical forests of Finland. You get to know Finnish forest culture over the ages, and you might even get to see some of the forest animals! The trip ends under ancient pines with a campfire coffee and a stick bun.

Relaxing Day of Silence and Art

The venue for this day is the most beautiful and relaxing surroundings around Lake Kemijärvi. Our day is a combination of a tranquil journey through contemplative and inspiring moments of meditation, silence and solitude as well as guided interactive moments of encountering art and the act of painting. Personal guidance is given by trained retreat counsellor and artist Pirkko Mäkelä-Haapalinna. The participants are encouraged to reflect their emotions and feelings through art and discussions. During the day, our participants are served an intimate lunch together with the artist.

Walking Meditation in Rapola

Come and experience a relaxing walking meditation in the unique milieu of Voipaala Manor garden and the ancient fortress of Rapola ridge. Walking meditation is a functional way of relaxing. It is not sitting alone but walking together – in silence – allowing you to have a break to everyday routines and spend time undisturbed in the peace of your own mind. The meditation combines light exercise, fresh air and the beauty of nature. Afterwards, the process is summarized in a conversation, giving the participants the opportunity for sharing experiences and insights with their fellow walkers.

Slow Lakeland

Choose a program of your interest and deepen your understanding of Finnish nature, culture, traditions. The idea is that, over five-ten days, you do at least one relaxing thing and fill your body and mind with pure air and positive thoughts and you have left stresses of real life far behind you. Once you’ve spent a few days exploring… go off-line and slip into a meditative state!

Mindfulness & Meditation in Silence

Explore the beauty of nature and fresh air, focus on breathing in the LOVE and float away with meditation guidance. Finland offers an abundance of clean air and silence that help you focus and relax. Depending on weather we usually start our mindfulness practice in Helsinki. We can customize your experience according to your wishes and needs, by yourself or in a group up to 100 persons. Duration: 1–2 hours We do not have limits.

Nature and Silence Tour

On this tour you will explore the pristine Arctic nature of the Pallas-Ylläs national park on a three days' snow-shoe safari and the nearby wilderness on a two-day husky safari. For five days you will hardly even see the lights of smaller villages. With at most six people in the group, we ensure a serene atmosphere. The tour takes place in the area of Levi-Muonio, one of the best places on Earth to hunt for Northern Lights, as listed by CNN.

The Trail of Silence

Feel the unhurried pace of being in the moment! Join us on a nature trail. Fill your soul with thoughts, feelings, songs and colours. Let the silence guide you through the mysteries and wonders of the lush forests to the culinary indulgences and purifying steams of a traditional sauna by Lake Päijänne (Finland's second largest lake).

One Day of Silence Trek (7h)

The One Day Silence trek (7h) offers a possibility to be silent in nature of Sanginjoki area close to the city of Oulu. You will have guidance into forest bathing and exercises of eco-therapy. Relax and open your senses to listening, seeing, touching, tasting and connecting - and feel the effects in your well-being!

Snowy Silence - Wintertime Accommodation

If you’re looking for a place to calm down, take an escape from the rush of the city. Niittyniemi Cottages offers you an opportunity for total relaxation and silence. In the wintertime you can find a moment of peace in here - the only sound you’ll hear is the gentle ripple of the river nearby. It will be just you, and the nature.

Evening in the Forest

We start our walk with the last light of the day. You can feel the silence falling over the forest – it relaxes your mind. We follow the path and take a break by the open fire. When we come back, we already need our headlights to find our way! Duration: 3 hours. An Exclusive Mindful Day at a Finnish Summer Cottage

You are invited to a very special experience of authentic Finnish summer! We Finns love our summer cottages, but we normally keep those private. This exclusive day will offer you unforgettable memories: an easygoing time in a wooden cottage by a lake and an open field, some mindfulness practice to enjoy the beautiful nature, a light lunch, tea or coffee, a walk to the woods nearby, a boat to row, a swim in the clear fresh waters and even a sauna, if you wish. Be prepared to enjoy the most memorable day of your journey in Finland!

Silence Talks - Mindful Walks

The incredibly beautiful nature and the unique setting invite you to enjoy the magic of silence and Finnish nature! This 1,5 hour walking tour in Fiskars woods allows you to awake the senses and truly notice your surroundings. With combining the nature and mindfulness we notice our own inner voice – perhaps for the first time! We will walk slowly and mainly in silence, stopping every now and then to truly hear, see, smell and sense what's inside and outside of us.

'Romance' –Wintertime Accommodation For Two

Take a short trip to the seashore and walk hand-in-hand into the sunset while enjoying the silence of the surrounding nature. If it’s freezing outside, you can warm up in the heat of a fireplace or a traditional Finnish sauna! And if you dare, lay down in the snow and let your mind flow to the Milky Way. If the weather is favourable, you might also see aurora borealis dancing in the sky!
