Cosy Finnish Sauna Evening

Visit a Finnish home and experience an authentic sauna, if you dare. Your host explains the traditions and procedures involved. Snacks and beverages will be served. Bigger groups are divided to several homes. Optimal number of guests is 1–4 persons.

Kick Sled Safari and Ice Fishing

The fish in the crystal clean lakes of Nuuksio do not sleep during the winter! Ski-equipped sleds offer not only light transportation but also the seats for fishing. A small tasting from the catch can be cooked on an open fire.

Witch's Tooth Knife

The knife of an old witch, who used it to carve thin slices of dried meat. According to old beliefs, the rattle made of reindeer horn at the end of the handle keeps evil spirits at bay, so the owner may eat in peace. The combination of curly birch and horn in the handle turn this knife into a true gem. Due to the traditional carbon steel blade, this beautiful knife is also excellent for cutting wood shavings to start a camp fire.

It’s time to party! “Kalliokierros” is a familiar concept to most party-people in Helsinki.
