Peat Sauna for Couples

Relaxing peat sauna treatments for couples in the only public sauna of Turku. Before entering the sauna, bathers take a shower and wash with peat soap. After warming up in the sauna, their skin is covered with functional peat in the washroom. Then bathers drink fresh water, and enjoy the caressing warmth of the sauna again. Total treatment time 35 minutes. The bathers then wash using only water. Finnish herb tea completes the treatment. We also sell pure and organic Finnish body care products, suitable for everyday use.

Wild Food and Culinaristic Cooking in Finland

In Finland animals, berries, mushrooms and wild herbs have a special taste gained from the Taiga forest and midnight sun. We will explore the pure Finnish culinary tastes and cook fantastic meals from wild nature ingredients with chefs. There are differents themes for cooking every day; fish, forest fruits, game animals and birds. We will make trips to forage the fruits of the forest, catch the fish, see the game animals and watch the birds. In the evenings we will have courses to cook the food we catched in the historical iron work area, famous from Alvar Aalto design.

Stundars Open Air Museum

Stundars is one of Finland's largest open air museums, an Ostrobothnian handicraft village and a very popular attraction south of Vaasa. During summer, you can walk around the museum village and run into "villagers" from 1917. You can participate in their chores or just have a chat with the farmer's wife, the school master or whomever you happen to meet during your stroll.

Neristan, the Old Town of Kokkola

Near the Kokkola city centre lies one of our country’s most extensively preserved historical areas of wooden houses. The town plan is from the 1650s. It consists of 12 blocks with hundreds of wooden houses and outbuildings. The oldest are from the 17th century.

Kivikoski cottage is a charming grey-log-wood property for up to 8 people located in Pyhtää, only 1 hour drive from Helsinki. The cottage has has originally been a hunting cabin and there is a cozy atmosphere with a wood-burning fireplace, beautiful saunas and a wood-heated hot outdoor tub. The cottage is suitable as a holiday location, but also for meetings and festive events all year around. The cottage has extensive grassy grounds that are ideal for children to play in. You have the opportunity to visit the whole Ironworks Village with a guide who will tell you about both history and present day at the ironworks and the buildings, or you can just simply make the walking tour on your own. Sleepyhead Festival in Naantali

The unique Sleepyhead Festival is the jolliest festival of the year for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy shopping at the Sleepyhead Market and a variety of other events. Festivities begin on 26th July at Naantali Ice Rink where the Sleepyhead cheese and wine festival takes place. On 27th July, Sleepyhead day, the Official Sleepyhead of the Year is thrown into the sea at 7 am sharp. The fun lasts from dawn till dusk all over town. This is a must-experience in Naantali!

Paddle Your Worries Away

Get excited about our easy and fun stand-up-paddling (SUP) experience with an instructor! The SUP experience includes transportation to and from the island with our idyllic wooden boat M/S Klippan, an instructed SUP session in front of or around the island and a specially made fresh lunch, as well as a quick sauna if you feel cold. Approximate duration: 3 hrs.

Seinäjoki Tango Festival

Welcome to the annual Tango Festival in Seinäjoki; dancing on the Tango Street with hundreds and hundreds of other lovers of tango, enjoying high-class dance performances, impressive music shows and the atmosphere of the long midsummer nights… a place like nowhere else! The package includes private accommodation, a one-week ticket to the festival and entry to a number of dance events.

Kayaking and Hiking Package in Teijo National Park

Explore National Park on a guided canoe trip (4 h) in Hamari lake. You will learn the basics of kayaking and make a peaceful trip (around 8 km) in the beautiful and calm lake landscapes. Relax afterwards in a traditional Finnish sauna and refresh in the cooling water of the lake. On the second day you can take a hike in the forest (3 km) from Kirjakkala. Have a coffee or lunch break in Teijo and do shopping in the handicraft centre in Teijo blast furnace. On the third day you can visit in the ironworks Mathildedal or Meri-Teijo Golf.

Kvarken SUP Expedition

On this expedition you will experience the amazing archipelago, on a SUP board. Our guides will navigate through the shallows. We spend the night in “a tensile accommodation”, floating in the air under the stars. Truly an experience which you will remember.
