Turku Design Tour

This tour guides you around the design stores of Turku, particularly the ones off the beaten path, like KUI Design, Klo Design, Televisio Lifestyle Store, Outolintu, PUF Designmarket, Aitoi and Punainen Norsu. The tour introduces you to the handicraft traditions of Turku, and includes a stop at the Turku Market Hall to visit Finland’s best bakery, MBakery, for a coffee and a piece of Kiss My Turku cake.

A Guided Walking Tour in Naantali Old Town

In Naantali Old Town, every building has a name of its own. The tour strolls through the narrow streets of the charming Old Town, exploring also the history of convent life in Naantali. The tours start from just outside Naantali Tourist Information and last one hour. The price of the ticket includes a small souvenir and entrance to the Naantali Museum, where you will also find a miniature model of the convent.

Malmbacka is a recently established village of cottages in historical Snappertuna in Southern Finland. It is surrounded by wild animals in a beautiful rural setting. You can prepare your food over an open fire and sleep in a cottage or in a charcoal worker’s hut on a sheepskin.

Bed and Breakfast by the Sea

Villa Merihelmi is located in the southern corner of Kimito Island in the beautiful archipelago. We have six individually decorated rooms. Two of them accommodate up to six persons. The building is from the 1920s and built in the local style. We are located in the heart of the Taalintehdas center. You can take day tours to the Bengtskär lighthouse, Rosala Viking Center or Öro. The best beaches and many events are also nearby. Our family is happy to help you in any way!

Sailing in Turku Archipelago

The archipelago of Turku is one of the world’s most beautiful and numerous archipelagos, of which national park covers a large area. On a six-day sailing trip we will explore five completely different islands. The difficulty level is easy, so no previous sailing experience is needed.

Fishing Experience

Hjortö is located next to a lake connected with the sea. Even if it is windy you can go fishing here. In water are lots of perches but you will also get pikes, pike-perces and whitefish. Our boats are 4.30 m and the engines 15 hp. In wintertime Hjortö is very popular for winterfishing.

Guided Seal Safari to the Outer Archipelago

Take a trip to the outer archipelago to see the grey seals living in the Baltic Sea. There are over 12 000 grey seals and with a bit of luck you can spot one! Seal safari on Thursdays and Sundays to the outer archipelago during the 3.7-14.8.2016 season and on Sundays during the 15-28.8.2016 season. Departure from the ST1 quay in the Eastern Harbour at 14. The duration of the cruise is approx. 2 hours. Price: Adults 35 euro, children (4-14 years) 15 euro.

Cycle Tour Mariehamn Trail

The six day, seven nights individual cycle tour takes you through Turku and Aland Archipelagos on bike. You can start and end in Turku or Västergård, on the island of Nagu. The peace and tranquillity, particulary in the rugged outer islands, is an unique experience. Along the route there are many interesting tourist attractions. Most of the roads surfaces are paved and the profile of the route is fairly flat. You are welcome to add extra nights at all stops for local biking or additional activities. The tour can also be made by car.

Seili is an old place of exile, where first lepers and then the insane were kept beginning in the 1600s. When you once went to Seili Island, there you stayed. You can access the famous fishing waters and make self-guided boating trips from your cottage. You have a rental boat for 1 day and get instructions for safe use. You can choose from calm sea routes or more exposed open sea routes. Pike is the most famous game fish in the area. The best season is in the spring and autumn. Kirjakkala Ironmills village was established in 1600's and tells you the story of Finnish industrialization. The environment has been preserved for more than 300 years. Old buildings are in new use as accommodation now.

An Evening with Salvador Dali

The Salvador Dali Private Dinner is an opportunity to enjoy dining at its most elegant. Hosted in the Dali exhibition space in Pargas, your private dining experience will take place in the midst of the artist's sculptures. Your evening starts with a glass of Perelada Brut Rose, the sparkling wine Dali served to his own guests. The food is prepared using Dali's recipes and the wines are mostly taken from the Dali Wine Book. The kitchen is manned by Rotisseur-Chef Kjell Gustafsson.
