Helsinki has a magnificent seaside setting, although many visitors miss experiencing the beauty of its archipelago. Our package includes visits to 3 local islands: Vallisaari, which was just opened to the public in 2016, Suomenlinna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a wonderful dinner on a tiny island overlooking the city. In addition, guests can experience the new-for-2016 Allas Sea Pools & Sauna, with its spectacular location beside the sea.

Osprey Safari to Linnansaari National Park

The Osprey Safari takes you to Linnansaari National Park where we will see this beautiful bird and its nests. On the way, we’ll take a break on Kaarnetsaari Island and make some coffee and local snacks by the open fire.

Bothnian Sea National Park in Rauma Archipelago

The national park area in front of Rauma has more than 30 kilometres of marked hiking trails. Underwater nature and cultural heritage are particularly important for the Bothnian Sea National Park. Boating, cruises, hiking and birdwatching are the best ways to explore the archipelago. The tourist islands of Rauma are easily accessible by water bus in the summertime. The timetables also allow for overnight stays on the islands.

One-Day Waterbus Trip to Örö Island

A waterbus trip from Korpoström to the Örö fortress island is a special experience. Before becoming part of the Archipelago National Park, Örö served as pasture for cattle as well as a military zone for a hundred years – first as a fortress of the Baltic Sea defence chain under the Russian Tsar's rule and later as a base for Finland's coastal artillery. Around 60 houses from various periods are preserved on Örö, alongside the fortifications built during the Russian reign. Guided tour and lunch included.

Paddling along Beautiful Siuntio River to Historical Sjundby Manor

Siuntio River, the "Finnish Amazon", is a good and easy paddling route for beginners. The paddling trip from the Canoe Center to Sjundby Manor is about 6 kilometres The landing stage at Sjundby makes getting ashore easy. Built in the 1500s, Sjundby's mediaeval manor and its surroundings are well worth a visit! In the summer, paddlers are served by Café Sjundby and guided tours of the manor are available. SE-Action Canoe Centre offers paddling equipment and guidance. At only a 30-minute drive from Helsinki!

Canoe Rentals at Lake Kyyvesi

Come and enjoy the lakeside nature of Lake Kyyvesi at your own pace. With a canoe, you can get to places you can’t reach with any other boat. It is a quiet and smooth way to move and allows you to merge into nature and discover shy birds you would not see otherwise. The archipelago lake area is very interesting for canoeing. The area is also safe for beginners since it is sheltered from winds and big waves. Within 7 km from the starting point there are two rest stop, open for everybody. The canoes are steady and suitable for up to three persons.

Enjoy a unique golf experience under the Finnish midnight sun. The Vierumäki Resort is Finland’s most versatile fitness and leisure venue, and its facilities include three golf courses. Midnight Golf events run in the summertime, starting at 2:00 AM. Vierumäki has two full golf courses, Classic and Cooke. There is also the par-3 Coach course, which has been designed especially for short-game practice and younger players. Guided Tour in Lempäälä

A one-hour guided tour where you explore a village road with shops and craftsmen. The Kuokkala Museum is a local history museum in an authentic setting with many different sections: a shop museum, a barber museum, a shoemaker’s shop, a blacksmith’s workshop with a section for transport equipment, the war veterans’ Heritage Chamber, and the hut of Kustaa Puskema. In the vicinity of the museum road you'll find the Sakkola Museum, which celebrates the culture of resettled Karelians. The museum has many stairs and high doorsteps, so it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
