Open your senses and let us guide you through an exhilarating experience in the Lappish nature. Refresh yourself amidst the forest where nature's scents and sounds charm you and capture all your attention. We'll pack our backpacks and trek over forest paths. As we walk along the worn paths, we'll stop to pick seasonal berries, mushrooms and wild foods and taste the flavours of the forest. We´ll also see, feel, and experience the diversity of nature and its beneficial powers.

Aurora Borealis Picnic

We start from your hotel and drive to the lakeside (approximately 25 km) away from the distracting city lights. If luck is on our side, we´ll do a short hike under the flaming Auroras and build a fire in a spot where the sky is open. And even if the sky is cloudy and we don’t spot any Auroras, sitting in the dark and tranquil nature is such a thrilling experience. Around the fire we will hear some stories about Aurora Borealis, both beliefs and facts, while the guide prepares some hot berry juice.

Lucky Ice Fisher?

Fishing is a great way to spend time outdoors and maybe even get lunch – if you're lucky! Red or green lure, let’s see, but don't forget the worm, the fish love it! The fishing isn't very serious, but we're spending time together and learning about nature, water and fish at the same time. Afterwards, we'll sit down for some snacks and stories. And of course cooking our catch on the open fire.

Evening Snack and Pancakes

Would you like to enjoy some peace and quiet? Just listen to the sounds of silence, sit by the bonfire and look at the sunset or see the stars in the sky? Maybe even get a glimpse of the Northern Lights, if you're lucky. If that sounds appealing, this activity is for you! Enjoy a traditional Finnish outdoor snack and cook some pancakes on the open fire! Suitable for all ages.
