A Typical Day in Finland (6–7 hours)

Discover the old city of Porvoo, Finnish history and culture, and our silent Nature. After lunch in a very nice restaurant, you will walk along the river and in the empire part of the city. In the afternoon we visit nice spots with beautiful views. Then we depart to an island located 25 km south of Porvoo. We will prepare the sauna, relax, and live in the moment. Enjoy the solitude of your own beach. Later we will have a BBQ at the same location and spend the rest of the day in our little paradise before returning to Porvoo, where the day ends.

Guided Tour to Orinoro Gorge

The Orinoro Gorge is one of the Seven Wonders in the Savo Region, an important geological site carved by glaciers during the last Ice Age. Walking through the narrow gorge makes you feel small, with rocks and trees covered by moss and lichen like in a fairytale. After visiting the gorge, hot coffee and grilled sausages taste delicious around an open fire. Your local guide leads you into a half-day adventure on the trails of Orinoro. The fresh air and Finnish forests will empower you. Your guide can also arrange transportation by adventure bus if needed. A real wonderland in the wintertime!

6 km Husky Loop – Self-Driven Husky Safari

After a guided tour, a guide will tell you how to drive a dog sled. The exciting 6 km Husky safari will take place in the beautiful winter landscape. After the safari, we will enjoy warm juice and biscuits. Two persons per dog sled team. Duration: 1.5 hours.

Escape Room

The Krapi Barn hosts an art gallery maintained by a mysterious art supporter. You and your friends have 60 minutes to discover the most closely-guarded secrets of the Lake Tuusula area. The game is suitable for anyone who wants to play and solve puzzles together. 2 to 6 people can play at the same time. Duration of the game: 1 hour 15 minutes, including 15 min start & 1 hour play time The yard is also home to Hotel Krapi, Restaurant Krapihovi, summer restaurant Mankeli, our large Beer Garden, and a smoke sauna by the lake – tailor your stay and make it truly memorable!

Kummakivi Boulder

The Ice Age that prevailed in Northern Europe some 11 000 years ago has significantly affected Finland's geography. The retreating ice sheet ploughed out an assortment of rocks, both big and small. One of the strangest is the Kummakivi boulder in Ruokolahti, Finland. This balancing giant lies on a convex bedrock surface with a very small footprint, but so firmly that it cannot be rocked with human force. Kummakivi ("the strange stone") has been protected since 1962. This boulder is on every tourist's must-see-list in South Karelia!

Winter Fun – Horse and Husky Experience

During the visit, you will get to know our farm animals, enjoy the power of our Huskies in a big sled driven by the guide, and let your mind relax in an open horse sleigh. After the rides, we warm up in a ”kammi” with hot juice by the fire. Duration about 1 hour.

Witch's Tooth Knife

The knife of an old witch, who used it to carve thin slices of dried meat. According to old beliefs, the rattle made of reindeer horn at the end of the handle keeps evil spirits at bay, so the owner may eat in peace. The combination of curly birch and horn in the handle turn this knife into a true gem. Due to the traditional carbon steel blade, this beautiful knife is also excellent for cutting wood shavings to start a camp fire.

Treetop Adventure

Whether on your own or with a friend or group, you will always be welcome to enjoy an experience of wild adventure at Treetop Adventure Huippu. Or why not spend an unforgettable day out with your colleagues or team? To top off the day, we offer delicious outdoor meals and packages with team building activities or meeting facilities through our partners. All adventurers should be at least six years old. The required minimum height is 100 cm. Tackling challenges on the high rope courses is not recommended during pregnancy.

Villa Marsalkka at Vuokatin Aateli

The ideal location makes this the perfect accommodation for a holiday-goer looking for both peace and services. It commands a view of the slopes and the rocky park. In the winter, you can ski right to the slopes from the villa. Villa Marsalkka (127 m²) accommodates 12 persons. The villa has two living rooms, four separate bedrooms, two toilets, utility room, spacious sauna and bathroom with two showers. The extendable dining table seats 12 persons. The spacious terrace and balcony face the slopes. From the sauna, you can step outside to the porch or to the gazebo in the garden to cool off.

Rent a Car at the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport

During summer evenings Steamship Ukkopekka sails from Turku to the fascinating small island of Loistokari. Wild Herbs

This trip teaches you how to recognise some common herbs in nature. Today, it is more and more popular to use natural herbs in salads, pies, soups, etc. We walk to a forest meadow and pick up seasonal herbs and make a salad for a snack. You can bring your own basket, knife, and notebook with you – or borrow a basket and knife from your guide. Duration: 3 hours. We walk in variable ground, so you need to wear good shoes.

Ice Karting – Powerslide on an Ice Track

Maneuver a go-kart on a snowy ice track! You are provided with complete winter driving gear: thermal overalls, shoes, gloves, hood, and helmet. Warm juice is served throughout the program. Minimum height 140 cm. Duration about 1 hour, including a short transfer.
