Holiday Apartments – 92 m²

These holiday apartments have two double bedrooms, a kitchen, fireplace, television, bathroom, shower, sauna, and a summer terrace downstairs. There is also a bathroom and wardrobe upstairs, two beds in the balcony, and two more beds and television in the bedroom. All beds are actual, proper beds. There is also an air-source heat pump in the apartment, which enables easily adjustable and comfortable room temperatures. Free Wifi, playground, ski maintenance room, pier, and beach at your disposal.

Cycle Tour Mariehamn Trail

The six day, seven nights individual cycle tour takes you through Turku and Aland Archipelagos on bike. You can start and end in Turku or Västergård, on the island of Nagu. The peace and tranquillity, particulary in the rugged outer islands, is an unique experience. Along the route there are many interesting tourist attractions. Most of the roads surfaces are paved and the profile of the route is fairly flat. You are welcome to add extra nights at all stops for local biking or additional activities. The tour can also be made by car.

Come and relax in the midst of beautiful Finnish countryside! Experience the sauna, swim in a lake, and enjoy the peace and quiet. Overnight in the historically valuable, rustic surroundings of the Vehkaniemi Estate, located in the village of Pohjaslahti. Day 1: Art Tour in Mänttä-Vilppula, including Serlachius Museum Gösta Day 2: Hiking in Helvetinjärvi National Park Both Serlachius Museum Gösta and Helvetinjärvi are some 30 kilometres from the Vehkaniemi Estate.

Saimaa Wellness Experience

Our new Lake Spa provides a new kind of Finnish lake wellness experience. The spa is built in the middle of natural rocks, and the large windows are overlooking Lake Saimaa. In the middle of the spa you can find the heart of the lake – a pond with circulating water. The building itself will be hidden under the forest terrain, which amplifies Järvisydän’s original atmosphere. Natural materials guarantee an exciting experience in the most ecological spa in Finland.

Gallery Veranda

Gallery Veranda is free to visit and open to all. The exhibitions are a great reason to stop at Finlandia Hall and enjoy our unique milieu and service. The gallery is open during Café Veranda’s opening hours. Exhibitions are managed by their organisers and works are sometimes available for purchase.

Cosy Finnish Mölkky Evening

Mölkky is a Finnish game played with throwing pins. It is easy and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. During the Mölkky Evening you will learn to play the game with your local hosts. You are invited to their home to have a snack and beverages during the game evening. Most homes can host 1–4 guests, some up to ten. Bigger groups are divided to several locations. Mölkky is an outside game and can be replaced by indoors activity if the weather is poor. No special clothing is needed; comfort is key.

Fishing trip to Archipelago & Accommodation in Hotel Fjalar

The nature of Southern Karelia has been shaped by The Ice Age. This tour takes you to see boulders and kettles, ridges and pebbles. You will learn about the Ice Age and how it has formed the geography of Finland. The trail is located on the banks of the beautiful Lake Saimaa.

Kolovesi National Park Sightseeing Cruise

Charter a sightseeing cruise in the Kolovesi National park with local Guide! Kolovesi is a paradise for nature lovers: isolated, silent and wild, a jewel of Eastern Finland. Our Ecoboat "Lady of the Lake" brings you to explore the wilderness in luxurious comfort. You will see great landscapes, feel the clean air and water, listen to the silence, and explore Stone Age rock paintings. Lauhanvuori National Park

Walk up Lauhanvuori Hill and climb the viewing tower to get panoramic views over the forested lowlands, stretching all the way to the Gulf of Bothnia. The hillside forests contain geological traces showing how the scenery has changed since the Ice Age, including extensive boulder fields and banks formed along ancient shorelines. The park's ski-trails are maintained carefully during the winter.

Wild Herbs

This trip teaches you how to recognise some common herbs in nature. Today, it is more and more popular to use natural herbs in salads, pies, soups, etc. We walk to a forest meadow and pick up seasonal herbs and make a salad for a snack. You can bring your own basket, knife, and notebook with you – or borrow a basket and knife from your guide. Duration: 3 hours. We walk in variable ground, so you need to wear good shoes.

Overnight in Comfortable Cabin

Spend the night in a log cabin or wilderness cabin for 2–4 persons. The rate includes accommodation, linen, towels, final cleaning and Kiilopää's weekly activities (guided hiking trips in the summer, guided snowshoe and skiing trips in the winter).

Art Lunch at Studio Gallery

Art lunch is an authentic experience in the Studio Gallery next to Lake Kemijärvi. The artist Pirkko Mäkelä-Haapalinna herself explains her inspiration for the paintings and their background. In addition, we enjoy a homemade lunch with the artist.

Green Fee at Linna Golf

Enjoy a full round of golf at our prestigious and idyllic course offering a great variety of beautiful landscapes and terrains. We are situated near the town of Hämeenlinna. The Club House contains a Pro Shop and the caddiemaster's office, as well as a restaurant downstairs and a spacious lounge upstairs. Dressing rooms are also located on the ground floor, and the dressing room lockers are available for all players. Saunas are heated up daily, and the price of a green fee includes towels. Magical Midnight Sun Sauna by the Sea

Feel the warmth of a real Finnish seaside sauna – something a Finn couldn't live without! Our guide will teach you how to make a proper bath whisk, tell you about traditions and beliefs related to the sauna and inform you of its health benefits. You will learn the secrets of heating a sauna; how to get the ideal muscle-relaxing, body-cleansing and mind-unwinding temperature. Take a refreshing dip in the sea. After the guided part you can enjoy the heat of the sauna amongst your group. The evening includes refreshing drinks and evening snacks cooked on a grill or an open fire.

Finnish Sauna and Ice Swimming Experience

Feel, see, taste, hear and relax in our traditional barrel sauna and wooden teepee called “Kota”. We will pick you up from the city by car and take you to our nature spa. In Kota we will tell you about Finnish sauna culture and give advise of how to behave in the sauna. Clothes off, towel or swimming trunks on and you are ready for an arctic experience! When the sauna heats up, you will feel all stress disappear. It's up to you if you want to dip in the cold water but we promise that the feeling you get when you go back to the sauna and warm up again, is amazing!
