Meet the Polar Bear

You will first meet your guide in the reception of the holiday village, from where the guide will take you the polar bear's nest. Prepare yourself for looking into the bear’s eyes by going through the safety instructions with the guide. You will not be allowed to go into the polar bear enclosure, but you will have a chance to greet the world's largest land predator safely from the other side of the fence, just a couple of metres away. The animal keeper will provide you with interesting information on the White King of the Arctic – and the Wildlife Park.

Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova combines history, archaeology and contemporary art with hands-on activities and professional guided tours. It is situated in Southwestern Finland, in Turku, which is a great city to make a day trip to. The museum also provides a cosy cafeteria and a lovely gift shop. The museum's guided tours introduce you to both the fascinating history of Turku, as well as the intriguing changing art exhibitions. In the summer season tours are included in the entrance fee, but they can also be reserved for groups throughout the year.

Family Spa Holiday

Fun leisure for the whole family! The package includes breakfast buffet, daily visits to the spa and pools, gym and daily leisure program. Three or four night stays include tickets to Wuoksi-Wille train for easy access to the Town Center and four night stays inlcludes cruise on the Lake Saimaa with m/s Christina (Mon or Thu). Doghill invites visitors to step right into a fairytale world based on the work of author and illustrator Mauri Kunnas. The area is diveded into Pawhill, Town and Farm. You can see a play at Paw Theatre, enjoy the old-fashioned atmosphere in the town’s beautiful cafés and boutiques or greet the animals at the Farm. At Christmas, on Halloween or during winter holidays, you can experience Särkänniemi's Doghill in a whole new way.

Visit to Santa Claus Village and Arctic Circle

This day excursion gives you the unique opportunity to meet Santa Claus at his office in the Lappish capital of Rovaniemi (170 km from Levi) and cross the magical Arctic Circle. Send mail to your friends with the special postmark, shop for local handicrafts at the many giftware boutiques and enjoy the atmosphere. Price includes transportation, guidance, and an Arctic Circle Crossing Certificate. Duration: about 9 hours.

Adventure Island

As soon as you reach the Adventure Island, get hold of your Treasure Map and start your own holiday adventure! The Treasure Map gives you tips guiding you step-by-step towards the Adventure Island treasure. To get there, however, you have to complete 6 different tasks. While looking for the treasure, you learn new skills. Tasks in the treasure hunt can be adjusted according to age and the seasons.

Wintertime Amethyst Mine Visit

Have you ever wanted to unearth some hidden gemstones? Here is your chance! The Lampivaara Amethyst mine provides you the tools and guidance you need to dig up your very own amethyst! Ride the snowcat (a large treaded snow vehicle) up to the top of Lampivaara, where a beautiful view and the amethyst mine await you. Here you will use the tools of the trade, assisted by professionals, to dig up amethysts, and then you get to bring one of your finds home with you! If you’re lucky, you may even see the Northern Lights during kaamos (Polar Night)!

Rokua National park

When you explore the esker ridges, sandhills and kettle hole lakes of Rokua, it's easy to see clear traces of the Ice Age – this is why this area forms part of Finland's first UNESCO Geopark. Family-friendly trails lead off through the park's wooded sandhills, where the forest floor is blanketed with silvery lichens. Kettle hole lakes nestling in sandy hollows are scattered through the park.

Family Snowmobile Safari

This snowmobile safari is specialised for families with little children. We will go for a ride on the forest trails around the Santa Claus Village area, where parents can ride their own snowmobile while children travel in a sleigh pulled by the guide's snowmobile. You can enjoy the beautiful wintery scenery, and we will make several stops to admire the snowy nature. We also stop at a special area, where children can ride safely on their own on mini-snowmobiles, which are suitable for children over 12 years, smaller kids can ride with their parent or guide.

Treetop Adventure at Flowpark Ahvenisto

Flowpark Ahvenisto in Hämeenlinna is an ecological adventure park built in the treetops. There are more than 200 meters of zip lines, some of which are built between two ridges. Our visitors can push themselves to the limit and test their courage in a safe environment. We promise a true adventure with fantastic lake sceneries and diverse Finnish nature. The adventure park is suitable for people of all ages and the adventure tracks have different degrees of difficulty to challenge everyone!

Ruka Scenery Lift & Summer Sled Track

The Ruka Sled Track is an exciting way to make your way down from the mountain: the run is 1 km long and offers speeds up to 60 km/h! You can also take scenery lift down, if you simply wish to enjoy the fantastic views. Come and experience the Summer Sled Track!

At Dusk in Kullasmarina, 2 Days

Come with your family or a group of friends to a guided nature walk to quiet down at dusk by Lake Päijänne in Finland. In the evening, we will cater a flamed salmon dinner in a hut. After dinner at dusk, our guide will take you on a relaxing "digital-free" nature tour. When the sun has set, you can sit down at the campfire and enjoy evening tea or coffee by the lake. During winter time when the sun sets early, you will enjoy dinner after the nature tour.

Amazing Auttiköngäs

This activity will be on foot. You will be walking by the amazing waterfalls and enjoying the beauty of the forest and Auttijoki river. Enjoy a snack by an open fire (included), listen to the sounds of the running free water. The guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you outside the city centre. The walk will be about 5 km. We recommend wearing warm sturdy shoes. Other than the drive, you will be outside the whole time, so be sure to wear suitably warm clothes.

Family Fun at Kirjurinluoto Park

Kirjurinluoto is a lush park area right by the city centre of Pori. It is a popular location for summer frolicking and a great family destination. You can reach Kirjurinluoto by car or foot or take the fun city train Poritar. The three-hectare play park for children, traffic park, exhibition gardens, scenic outdoor routes, a beach by the river and a chance to encounter various animals – this park provides things to do for days. The park and play areas are free to enter and use.

Husky Kennel Visit

Welcome to the home of Huskies! Come and meet the charming individuals of our pack. The canine members of our small family kennel include huskies of all ages from youngster to pensioner – every dog ready to become your new best friend! You can also participate in the daily routines of the kennel. Suitable for all. Duration: 1 hour

Ounasvaara Fell and Ranua Zoo

Experience a day of nature and animals. See the city in all its glory from a wonderful look-out point on top of the local Ounasvaara fell, which we’ll reach by snowshoe, before heading on to Ranua Zoo. At the Zoo, you’ll find local animals as well as exotic, with the highlights being the enormous moose and polar bear. Also of note are the traditionally local animals, such as the forest reindeer, the wolverine, and the arctic fox, as well as many different owl species! We’ll have a buffet lunch at the Zoo restaurant. Afterwards we’ll return to your hotel.

Wild Food Dinner in Uitonniemi

A local chef will create a memorable dinner from Arctic flavours and pure ingredients from lakes and forests. You can also request for your favorite dishes. Uitonniemi’s landscape terrace has a beautiful lake view – great on summertime evenings, spectacular with the Northern Lights. Uitonniemi's rich history dates back to the 17th century, when it was a station for log floating. Today Uitonniemi is a cosy northern Finnish manor brimming with tradition.
