Family Spa Holiday

Fun leisure for the whole family! The package includes breakfast buffet, daily visits to the spa and pools, gym and daily leisure program. Three or four night stays include tickets to Wuoksi-Wille train for easy access to the Town Center and four night stays inlcludes cruise on the Lake Saimaa with m/s Christina (Mon or Thu). Full board and Half board meal plans available. One to two children aged 6-14 years get free accommodation, breakfast and visit to pools when staying with adults. The restaurants offer à la carte menu, snacks, fast food, drinks, hot and cold beverages.

Ruka Scenery Lift & Summer Sled Track

The Ruka Sled Track is an exciting way to make your way down from the mountain: the run is 1 km long and offers speeds up to 60 km/h! You can also take scenery lift down, if you simply wish to enjoy the fantastic views. Come and experience the Summer Sled Track!

Pyhä Scenery Lift

Take a round-trip to Tsokka! Enjoy the magical Lappish landscape from the top of the Pyhä fell. The PyhäExpress lift will take you to the top where you can admire the scenery and try the delicious waffles at restaurant Tsokka. Tickets are available from Information Centre Naava, Piste Rental Shop and Hotel Pyhätunturi.

Sparkling Summer Amethyst Mine Visit

Have you ever wanted to unearth some hidden gemstones? Here is your chance! The Lampivaara Amethyst Mine will provide the tools and guidance you need to dig up your very own amethyst! We’ll walk up to the top of Lampivaara, where a beautiful view and the amethyst mine await you. Here you will use the tools of the trade, assisted by professionals, to dig up amethysts, and then you get to bring one of your finds home with you! With your find secured, we’ll head down to cook a meal over the open fire: sausages, mushroom soup, and blueberry tea! After this, we return you to your hotel.

Wintertime Amethyst Mine Visit

Ride the snowcat (a large treaded snow vehicle) up to the top of Lampivaara, where a beautiful view and the amethyst mine await you. Here you will use the tools of the trade, assisted by professionals, to dig up amethysts, and then you get to bring one of your finds home with you! If you’re lucky, you may even see the Northern Lights during kaamos (Polar Night)!

Private Visit to Family Husky Farm and Sleigh Ride

This is a great experience for anyone travelling with small children. Come join us at our Husky farm and feel part of the team. Harness the dogs, hug and play with them. Once we get going, we will travel in easy terrain and cross the frozen lake. Afterwards we will cook delicious pancakes in the warmth of the house or by the campfire, depending on the weather. And there's plenty of time to play in the snow! Duration: 2 to 3 hours

Lucky Ice Fisher?

Fishing is a great way to spend time outdoors and maybe even get lunch – if you're lucky! Red or green lure, let’s see, but don't forget the worm, the fish love it! The fishing isn't very serious, but we're spending time together and learning about nature, water and fish at the same time. Afterwards, we'll sit down for some snacks and stories. And of course cooking our catch on the open fire.

Evening Cruise in the Enchanting Waters Around Naantali

Enjoy Naantali out on the sea. Nothing really compares to the feeling when the beautiful evening sunshine reflects off the Baltic Sea. This is how Naantali was meant to be experienced. Join a 90-minute leisurely evening cruise on M/S Aavatar. Departures from the Old Town harbour on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1st to 29th July at 7 pm. Tickets can be purchased beforehand from the Visit Naantali office or from our website.

Adventure Island

As soon as you reach the Adventure Island, get hold of your Treasure Map and start your own holiday adventure! The Treasure Map gives you tips guiding you step-by-step towards the Adventure Island treasure. To get there, however, you have to complete 6 different tasks. While looking for the treasure, you learn new skills. Tasks in the treasure hunt can be adjusted according to age and the seasons.

Ounasvaara Fell and Ranua Zoo

Experience a day of nature and animals. See the city in all its glory from a wonderful look-out point on top of the local Ounasvaara fell, which we’ll reach by snowshoe, before heading on to Ranua Zoo. At the Zoo, you’ll find local animals as well as exotic, with the highlights being the enormous moose and polar bear. Also of note are the traditionally local animals, such as the forest reindeer, the wolverine, and the arctic fox, as well as many different owl species! We’ll have a buffet lunch at the Zoo restaurant. Afterwards we’ll return to your hotel.

Relaxing Trip to Finnish Karelia

Welcome to Holiday Center Pajarinhovi! We have prepared a unique program for You: visit the zoological park Kitee Zoo, relax in Spa Center Pajarinhovi and enjoy a traditional Finnish dinner – Chanterelle Soup with home-made bread and Broiled Salmon with grilled vegetables and mushroom sauce. Family Self-drive Tour in Finland: Naantali, Åland and Helsinki

This is an amazing adventure holiday for a family with children under 12 years! You will make a roundtrip in western Finland starting from Helsinki and experience the lake life in Lohja, make a visit to the Moominworld as well as Kastelholm castle. To top the trip off, there will be an activity day spent in SmartPark. Last but not least, the journey finishes with two days cruising around Helsinki.

Would you like to know about the way of life in Lapland? We invite you to visit our home. During a homemade 2-course dinner, we have time to chat about the Finnish and especially Lappish way of life and share our experiences. Pick up point is in front of Levi Tourist Information. Duration: 2 hours with transfer. On Fridays!

Circle of Levi

All the way around, up and down Levi fell! Follow the guide and he will lead you into the snowy landscapes of Levi, driving all around the fell and enjoying its scenery as much as admiring the beautiful river Ounasjoki.  If the weather favours us, we will also drive to the top of Levi! Our guides have a sweet tooth so you will stop some berry juice and buns!

Archipelago Route to Kustavi - Fabulous Cruise from Naantali

Fabulous crossing on board the M/S Aavatar in summer on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The enchanting route from Naantali, via Taivassalo to Kustavi is a shortcut for cyclists and a mini cruise for others spending time in the archipelago; there is a variety of magnificent destinations along the way for day and overnight trips. You can buy beverages (fully licensed) and small snacks on board.

Spa Experiences in Spa Hotel Rauhalahti, Kuopio

Enjoy the lovely warmth of the spa, even when it’s freezing cold outside! You can visit the hot pool and ice pool, jacuzzis or try the water-slide. For kids there are own pools. There is also a swimming pool and it is a place for water gymnastic lessons. Water massage is possible in the multi-purpose pool with hydro massage points and counter-current swimming. You can also swim to the warm outdoor pool. There are Finnish saunas for women and men, a steam sauna “Roman style”.

Lake Pallasjärvi Canoe Trip in the National Park

Lake Pallasjärvi is a huge lake located in the middle of the national park. This trip is guided by a certified national park guide. You can enjoy amazing views of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Fishing is possible, typical catches for this lake are grayling and trout. You can also pick berries at the end of the summer. Wild berries like Arctic cloudberries, blueberries, and lingonberries grow in the lake surroundings. Picnic lunch included.

Excursion to Santa Claus Village

Santa Claus Village is a magical place all year round, for both children and adults alike. After posting letters at Santa's Post Office, you can buy gifts and souvenirs. In winter, you can experience a short safari in a sleigh pulled by reindeer or huskies and ride a sledge downhill. Of course, you will meet Santa Claus and share your dreams and wishes with him. Don't forget to cross the Arctic Circle! Take a photograph of this important event and remember to get a certificate as a proof. Afterwards we will visit Santa Park, a unique Christmas-themed amusement complex built in a cave.

Särkänniemi Amusement Park

Särkänniemi is home to dozens of rides that provide fun for visitors of any age. Take a wild ride in the Tornado, Surge or other rides. They’ll offer speed, spinning and splashes for the daredevils, while there are plenty of options for those who prefer more sedate rides. The newest ride X rises to over 30 metres and spins the passengers upside down. In addition, there are other attractions like Doghill, Angry Birds Land, Planetarium, Aquarium and the Näsinneula observation tower. Särkänniemi is more than just an amusement park!
