A Berry Nice Day – Berry Picking in Rovaniemi

The forests of Lapland are full of wild berries, but without the help of a local guide, it might be difficult to spot the right and best spots in the Lappish nature. Learn the basics about these delicious superfoods which you can pick totally fresh and pure from the ground. Blueberries, cloudberries and lingonberries are waiting for you in the forests and swamps around Rovaniemi! Enjoy your berries as a snack and try a cup of traditional campfire coffee.

Ski Passes to Levi

The Levi ski resort is a good choice for beginners who wish to be immediately immersed in the extremes of winter in a beautiful northern setting. There are plenty of wide and easy pistes and slightly longer and steeper runs to move on to by the end of the week. More than half of Levi's pistes are graded intermediate and skiers enjoy whizzing around on the wide, open ski runs. The black-graded World Cup piste has a 52% final stretch, one of the steepest in Scandinavia.

Private Ski School Lessons at Levi

The ski school is about learning new skills, achieving new goals, experiences and fine-tuning your technique. But most of all it's about enjoying, having a great and safe time on snow together with our skilled instructors. We give lessons in alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country and telemark skiing for all skill levels. Choose a private lesson where you can attend one-on-one or form a group with your family or friends of similar ability. The lessons are tailored to your ability, interests and needs.

Aqua Park

Aqua Park Flamingo offers thrilling moments for all lovers of action-packed water games. Inside the water park, you will find different kinds of pools and slides, as well as our pool side restaurant, Spa Cafe, which is licensed to serve alcohol. In connection with the showers, there is also a Finnish sauna. Come and experience our dizzying water slides or enjoy yourself in the warm waters of our pools. Visit Santa Claus Village and a Husky Farm in Rovaniemi

Our safari starts with a visit to a reindeer and husky farm with guided tours. We meet an authentic reindeer herder and husky musher and have a chance to take photos of the reindeer and huskies and see how life at the farms is. Before continuing our journey, we sit down by the fireplace to relax with a cup of coffee and hear stories about life with the reindeer.

Behind the Scenes Tour

Our Behind the Scenes Tour is a super fascinating tour behind the closed doors with a SEA LIFE Expert guiding you! The tours are organized daily at 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 o'clock. In addition to Behind the Scenes ticket, you will also need the admission ticket to SEA LIFE. The length of the tour is approximately 20 minutes. The amount of participants for one tour is limited and the age recommendation is at least 10 years. Places for tours are filled in order of arrival and the maximum group size is 10 persons.

Snowmobiling for Kids – Himos

This is a chance for your kids to get their first experience on a snowmobile. The snowmobiles are specifically made for children and our closed track is perfect for new riders!

Entertainment Centre Flamingo

The biggest entertainment centre in Scandinavia is located in the Metropolitan area (Vantaa) right next to the Jumbo shopping center, the biggest in the region. Flamingo provides some serious fun for locals and visitors alike. All indoor attractions are open around the year. Flamingo houses a hotel, a water park and spa, a variety of leisure activities (e.g. bowling, glow golfing and laser adventures), restaurants, shops and wellness services. Welcome!

Ranua Zoo

EXPERIENCE THE WILD ARCTIC The Ranua Wildlife Park gives you an opportunity to see polar bears along with 50 other Arctic animal species in the midst of Northern woods. Ranua offers accommodation and a variety of program services for an adventurous holiday in the heart of true Lappish wilderness.

Aurora Safari

Experience the glow of the northern lights! We will depart, when the darkness falls. Out in the wilderness we keep our eyes on the ever-changing skies. If we are lucky we will catch a glimpse of the northern lights. The safari covers about 35km's and lasts for 2-3 hours. During the safari we will serve warm drinks.

Scenic Drive with Electric Fat Bikes

An enjoyable and relaxing biking trip in the beautiful nature surrounding the Levi fell. This tour is suitable for everyone and will give you the chance to experience our new Electric Fat Bikes which make pedalling easier and reaching the best locations much more fun! Drive together with your guide along beautiful roads and forest paths in some of the most beautiful areas of Levi and hear stories about the local nature and life in Lapland. Duration: 2 hours.

Chocolate Factory Visit & Tour

Want to see how chocolate is made from cocoa beans? In our factory, you can! The Little Chocolate Factory is as small as its name suggests, and during your visit we will explore how we produce chocolate on a small scale. At the end of the tour, you can taste the chocolate we have made and discuss more about chocolate. You can also buy some chocolate to take with you direct from the Factory Shop!

Santa's Resort

At the edge of Kakslauttanen, deep in the heart of the forest, Santa's realm opens up. After all these centuries, Santa has finally decided to unlatch the doors of his home to the public. The idyllic red cabin awaits visitors at the end of a beautiful wooden walking bridge, across a narrow river. Santa will be there to greet you; please book an appointment in advance. Santa’s Celebration House is quite the sight. Finland's largest log building accommodates over 250 guests, whether they be dining, celebrating a wedding or enjoying a concert.

Arctic Adventure Park Huima

The Arctic Adventure Park Huima is located right at the Arctic Circle and it has ten different courses of varying difficulty – up to seven meters above ground. Adventurers move between living trees using ropes, beams, bridges and nets that are spanned from tree to tree. Arctic Adventure Park Huima – Great fun for the whole family!

Snowman World All Day Entrance

Arctic Frontier Forage & Fire

Discover the Arctic through the abundance of food to be found in the forests and wetlands. Enjoy lunch cooked over a fire by the beauty and natural delights of the national park. Learn to identify edible foods, collect wild herbs, flowers, nettles, wild berries and mushrooms. We will forage on our way to a hut and enjoy a meal cooked by the fire using local ingredients: smoked reindeer wraps, a warm spelt salad and grilled vegetables, followed by warm chocolate brownies and berries. Duration: 5 hours.

Ski School at Himos Ski Resort

Whether you are skiing for the very first time or wish to fine-tune your technique, our Himoset ski instructors have a program for you, including lessons in telemark and snowboarding. Note that our instructors are very good indeed; they have won the Finnish Championship several times in between Finnish ski schools. Sessions are organized on the western slopes on weekends and during vacation periods. Don’t forget to reserve your lessons in advance on weekends as well as weekdays outside vacation periods!

Outamaa – Snowy Reindeer Excursion

Outamaa is a laid-back 5 km reindeer sleigh ride through frozen forests, swamps and ponds, hosted by a local reindeer herder. It will also visit a farm and help feed the reindeer, if you wish. Afterwards you can enjoy a cup of strong coffee and tasty homemade pastries in a cozy kota hut, and listen to interesting stories about reindeer herding and Sámi culture.

Northern Lights Tour to Tonttula

Experience the magic of Lapland during September in the Tonttula experience village, 8 km from Levi in the village of Köngäs. The venue is situated in the beautiful countryside on the riverbanks of the mighty river Ounasjoki. Our tour through the forest shows you the splendour of Lappish nature, gives you a chance to taste genuine rye bread and hear the shaman's drum in a traditional wooden kota.

Beaver Trip – Canoeing

Get familiar with the basics of indian canoeing and visit an area populated by beavers. The trip lasts about 2 hours and includes canoe hire for the rest of the day.
