Husky & Animal Farm

Come and meet our 200 sled dogs at our farm in Ruka-Kuusamo. It's one of the biggest sled dog farms in Finland. The farm is open around the year, everyday from 10.00 to 15.00. The dogs are friendly and you can pet them as much you like! You can even take them on a hike. We have also other domestic animals such as reindeer, horses, sheep, goats, llamas, woolen pigs, rabbits, cats, and different kinds of birds (hens, ducks, turkeys, geese). For a small fee, you can go around freely by yourself, but we can also arrange guided visits for groups.

Northern Lights Tour to Tonttula

Experience the magic of Lapland during September in the Tonttula experience village, 8 km from Levi in the village of Köngäs. The venue is situated in the beautiful countryside on the riverbanks of the mighty river Ounasjoki. Our tour through the forest shows you the splendour of Lappish nature, gives you a chance to taste genuine rye bread and hear the shaman's drum in a traditional wooden kota.

Night Snowmobile Safari

Leave the city lights behind you and join an unforgettable snowmobile adventure to the dark wilderness. We will drive along frozen rivers and through forests covered with snow, letting the glittering moon and stars guide us through our journey. The tour is suitable for everyone, also for families with children – no previous experience is necessary.

Traditional Day in a Finnish Summer Cabin in the Wilderness

During this excursion, you will experience the local way of life and the treasures of Lappish wilderness. After a transfer into the forest by car, we will jump into a rowing boat and row across the lake to the wilderness cabin. We will spend a relaxing day in the pure Lappish nature; fishing, picking berries or mushrooms, collecting fresh natural spring water, starting a fire and having lunch together, listening to fascinating stories of the Lappish nature and life here in the Arctic wilderness.

Midnight Sun Canoe Safari

We will go by car towards the Pallas fell and enjoy the peaceful nature at the Kivijärvi wilderness lake. This trip is suitable for the whole family. Admiring the stunning scenery under the midnight sun, we enjoy paddling and forget everything else. It’s only the quiet nature, canoes and us. At the end of the trip, we enjoy some campfire coffee. Duration: 2.5 hours.

Ski Passes to Levi

The Levi ski resort is a good choice for beginners who wish to be immediately immersed in the extremes of winter in a beautiful northern setting. There are plenty of wide and easy pistes and slightly longer and steeper runs to move on to by the end of the week. More than half of Levi's pistes are graded intermediate and skiers enjoy whizzing around on the wide, open ski runs. The black-graded World Cup piste has a 52% final stretch, one of the steepest in Scandinavia.

Arctic Zoo – Day at Ranua Wildlife Park

Ranua Wildlife Park is a must-visit for the whole family! The park is located an hour's drive from Rovaniemi city centre and is home to approximately 50 Arctic species and 200 animals. We will also meet brown bears, polar bears, lynxes, foxes and numerous birds, just to mention a few. Before returning back to the city, we enjoy a buffet lunch and visit the Fazer sweetshop.

Evening Husky Tour

As evening falls, we head towards adventure. Animals are restless in the forest – are they waiting for us? Every now and then, we switch our headlamps off and continue under the moonlight or flaming Northern Lights. We sit around a campfire, taste local delicacies and have something hot to drink.

Visit to Husky Center

Meet our friendly dogs! Our guide will introduce you to the energetic world of huskies. You’ll get to know our charming huskies as individuals and hear about their behavior, training and care. Funny glutton contest included. This programme is available regardless of weather.

Santa’s Workshop in Tonttula Experience Village

Enjoy activities with the elves and meet Santa Claus! Spend a fun three hours with elves baking gingerbread cookies, making Christmas decorations, trying tobogganing and other fun winter activities outdoors plus visiting the horses and reindeer in the courtyard. Highlight of the programme is meeting Santa Claus himself! Finally, you get to eat traditional delicious rice porridge before bidding farewell to the elves.

Tykkimäki Aquapark

Aquapark offers super-fun water slides, water play pools, and a 25-meter swimming pool for serious swimmers. For freshening up, there are sauna facilities and changing rooms as well as a restaurant area with a large terrace. From the terrace, you can also see the neighbouring Käyrälampi Beach. You can buy a range of soft drinks and ice cream from the beach kiosk.

Snowmobile Safari to Levi Ice Gallery

We journey through the Levi countryside around the north side of the fell by snowmobile. On arrival, we visit Levi Ice Gallery. Afterwards, we enjoy hot drinks and a snack and then return to Levi. The journey covers approximately 40 km and lasts 2 – 2.5 hours.

Snowman World All Day Entrance

The best playgrounds in the Arctic Circle for kids and the young at heart. Slide down the daring hills, try ice skating or a lappish sleigh-go-round. tThe all day entrance ticket also includes a visit to the magical Ice World with an Ice Bar, Ice Restaurant and Igloo Hotel. You are warmly welcome to spend an unforgettable day in Snowman World!

Excursion to a Husky Farm

After a short transfer, we will arrive at the husky farm where we will be met by the cute Arctic sled dogs that are enjoying their well-earned summer holiday! You will have a chance to get up close with the dogs and hear fascinating stories of their lives throughout the year, and how they love their work during the winter! Enjoy a peaceful break by the open fire in a traditional kota, complete with delicious sausages and a cup of hot juice before returning to Levi by car. Duration: 2 hours.

Visit our Husky Park

Come and see life at the Husky Park! You can take photos, visit our beautiful park and meet the Siberian Huskies. A guided tour in our park is included in the entrance fee, starting daily at noon (duration 30–60 minutes). You will see our huskies running free, eager to meet guests and maybe also play a little! Note! All commercial use of photos must be agreed upon in advance.

Finnish National Parks – Self-Drive

This self-drive itinerary includes easy driving on traffic-free roads while travelling through the sparsely populated taiga forests of Northeastern Finland. Five national parks are easily accessible from the route, perfect for hiking, canoeing, and fishing. Near the Russian border, you can participate on bear or wolverine watching tours, giving you a unique chance to see and photograph these animals safely.

Chocolate Factory Visit & Tour

Want to see how chocolate is made from cocoa beans? In our factory, you can! The Little Chocolate Factory is as small as its name suggests, and during your visit we will explore how we produce chocolate on a small scale. At the end of the tour, you can taste the chocolate we have made and discuss more about chocolate. You can also buy some chocolate to take with you direct from the Factory Shop!

The North – Circular Tour

This circular self-drive tour starts from Oulu on the western coast of Finland, goes through the sparsely populated Wild Taiga area on our eastern border, continues to the Arctic Circle and then back to Oulu. You can enjoy easy driving on quiet roads. The itinerary has been designed with kids in mind – it is full of activities to keep them interested and entertained. There is also a lot of fun for the adults as well! Highlights include Angry Birds Activity Park Vuokatti, a ride with a “Husky Mercedes”, meeting Santa, and bear watching.
