Ski Resort Himos – the Biggest Slopes in Southern and Central Finland!

The most diverse, largest and longest slopes in Southern and Central Finland are yours to conquer! You have access to 21 fantastic slopes and 15 lifts. Himos provides fun for all. The selection of slopes includes all slope colors, ranging from very easy greens to the most demanding blacks. Himos also provides four free lifts for beginners. Children under seven wearing a helmet can ride for free when accompanied by an adult. During weekends and holidays, we provide promotions, events, and games, sure to lighten up the atmosphere even further.

Snowmobiling for Kids – Himos

This is a chance for your kids to get their first experience on a snowmobile. The snowmobiles are specifically made for children and our closed track is perfect for new riders!

Crazy About Animals

At Santa’s Pet farm you can nurse, feed and pet the cute farmyard animals. The guided tour introduces you to a mini pig, a goat and a reindeer. The sweet bunnies are waiting for their salad and carrots and the henhouse’s rooster for bread with his mistress. These and many other animals live here in the yard. Juice and sweets are offered during the trip. Pony rides available for an extra charge. You can also buy coffee, ice cream and sweet or salty waffles in the café hut. Duration: about 1.5 hours.


"Poronkusema" is a traditional Lappish measure of travel. In this program it means a 2 km long reindeer sledge ride with reindeer herders. You have also the possibility to visit and feed the reindeer.

Room Escape Game Experience

The second generation of our escape rooms are called Adventure Rooms. With fantastic city centre location in Tennispalatsi, these three game rooms are themed as The Mayan Treasure, Out of Mars and The Secret Cabin. These puzzle rooms are truly worth seeing! Grab your friends for an Adventure!

River Rafting on Family Route

A rafting adventure for the whole family (minimum age 5 years). Together with a professional skipper we shoot the seven wonderful rapids of Kitkajoki river. This is the adventure you will remember!

Trolls Adventure

We invite you to discover this mysterious troll land where you will figure out how those funny forest dwellers live. Journey into the woods, where the Trolls have lived since ancient times. Their cave is on the top of a hill, but to get there, you will have to pass the Troll's tests! When the tasks are completed, a warm reception with a family of trolls is awaiting you. You will learn about their lives and history through stories. And if you're very well behaved, the Trolls may even give you some treats! ​ An ideal choice for families with children.

Stay on a Finnish Farm

Kannisto's livestock farm is an old-fashioned granny's home with modern-day comforts on the countryside. Here you have an opportunity to see food make its way from the field and pasture to the table. Children enjoy feeding and taking care of the animals. The nature trail provides many useful experiences. There is a lot to do and feel while enjoying the authentic atmosphere and cuisine of a real family farm! This is a peaceful way to spend a holiday on your own, with your family or among a group. You will try the original Finnish sauna, of course!

Behind the Scenes Tour

Our Behind the Scenes Tour is a super fascinating tour behind the closed doors with a SEA LIFE Expert guiding you! The tours are organized daily at 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 o'clock. In addition to Behind the Scenes ticket, you will also need the admission ticket to SEA LIFE. The length of the tour is approximately 20 minutes. The amount of participants for one tour is limited and the age recommendation is at least 10 years. Places for tours are filled in order of arrival and the maximum group size is 10 persons.

Wilderness Safari

Enjoy the peace of our Lappish wilderness with reindeer herders. You will be taken to the wilderness on a 3-hour reindeer sledge safari where you can enjoy the harmony of Lapland. Coffee and sweet buns are served by the campfire. The trip includes a presentation of a traditional reindeer farm. You can also feed the reindeer.

A Visit to Santa's Village and Snowmobiling to a Local Reindeer Farm

Experience and discover the secrets of Santa Claus and his little helpers! Meet Mr. Father Christmas himself, visit the official Santa Claus main post office on the Arctic Circle, do some souvenir shopping in Santa Claus Village and enjoy a delicious lunch. Afterwards we head for the snowmobiles and drive to an authentic reindeer farm. Meet the reindeer herders and try a short reindeer sleigh ride, as well as take part in a crossing the arctic circle ceremony. After an unforgettable day we return back to the city by snowmobiles by driving into snow covered forest and frozen rivers & lakes.

Pre-Christmas Adventure in Lapland

This pre-Christmas trip to Rovaniemi, home of Santa Claus, is a great combination of all the Christmas must-do's at the Arctic Circle and is especially suitable for families. During your holiday, you will have a ride in a reindeer sleigh to meet Santa Claus, enjoy pristine snow-covered nature during a husky safari and feel the Arctic wind in your face on a snowmobile. Santa's Resort

At the edge of Kakslauttanen, deep in the heart of the forest, Santa's realm opens up. After all these centuries, Santa has finally decided to unlatch the doors of his home to the public. The idyllic red cabin awaits visitors at the end of a beautiful wooden walking bridge, across a narrow river. Santa will be there to greet you; please book an appointment in advance. Santa’s Celebration House is quite the sight. Finland's largest log building accommodates over 250 guests, whether they be dining, celebrating a wedding or enjoying a concert.

Trip to Ranua Zoo

We invite you to come visit Ranua Zoo! We will pick you up at your hotel and after the trip we will also bring you back to the hotel. The Ranua wildlife park is located 80 km's away from Rovaniemi and it takes about an hour to get there by bus. You can use free Wi-Fi onboard the bus and relax on the journey to Ranua Zoo. You will have 3 hours to visit the Arctic Wildlife Park, during which the bus will wait for you at the parking place.

Santa's Circle

Santa’s Circle allows you to reveal the veil of mystery over the wilderness around you. Step into the fairy tale and immerse yourself in Finnish ice hockey history! The day tour includes: Visit at Ranua zoo and the Fazer chocolate shop, Santa Claus village at the Arctic Circle, toboggan and chair lift to Ounasvaara fell, an ice hockey game and ice skating show. Transfers, winter thermal outfit (overall, boots) and English speaking guide.

Arctic Adventure Park Huima

The Arctic Adventure Park Huima is located right at the Arctic Circle and it has ten different courses of varying difficulty – up to seven meters above ground. Adventurers move between living trees using ropes, beams, bridges and nets that are spanned from tree to tree. Arctic Adventure Park Huima – Great fun for the whole family!

Private Ski School Lessons at Levi

The ski school is about learning new skills, achieving new goals, experiences and fine-tuning your technique. But most of all it's about enjoying, having a great and safe time on snow together with our skilled instructors. We give lessons in alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country and telemark skiing for all skill levels. Choose a private lesson where you can attend one-on-one or form a group with your family or friends of similar ability. The lessons are tailored to your ability, interests and needs.

After Five Ticket (adult / child)

The After Five ticket allows you to see our aquarium in the evening. Please take notice of our opening hours and note that entrance ends 1 hour prior to the actual closing time. After five tickets for adults and children can only be purchased online.
