Linnanmäki Amusement Park

The Linnanmäki Amusement Park has entertained families since 1950. The amusement park has an enormous selection of fun rides, from ultra scary to more easy-going. The vintage wooden rollercoaster is over 50 years old and remains the park's most popular ride. Linnanmäki also has many arcade halls with the latest games as well as an outdoor stage with entertaining performances. The park has been supporting child welfare work in Finland for over 60 years. We recommend a one-day wristband which includes all rides – have fun!

Flowpark

Flowpark is an ecological adventure park, where you can put your wits and fitness to the test. Our adventure courses have been built with live trees, doing no harm to the flora. You can negotiate various obstacles in the treetops, at heights of up to 20 metres. The tasks are high-rope courses that feature swinging bridges, zip wires, swings, and lianas. Flowpark is designed for everyone older than six who have an adventurous streak, and it is guaranteed to offer fun challenges to newbies and old hands alike!

Visit the World's Only Moomin Museum!

The Moomin Museum is a new, experimental art museum based on the unique collection of Moomin art by Tove Jansson (1914–2001). The Museum is situated at Tampere Hall in Tampere. Check opening hours and admission fees on our website.

The Best Museum Experience Ever!

Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova combines history, archaeology and contemporary art with hands-on activities and professional guided tours. It is situated in Southwestern Finland, in Turku, which is a great city to make a day trip to. The museum also provides a cosy cafeteria and a lovely gift shop. The museum's guided tours introduce you to both the fascinating history of Turku, as well as the intriguing changing art exhibitions. In the summer season tours are included in the entrance fee, but they can also be reserved for groups throughout the year.

Särkänniemi Doghill

Doghill invites visitors to step right into a fairytale world based on the work of author and illustrator Mauri Kunnas. The area is diveded into Pawhill, Town and Farm. You can see a play at Paw Theatre, enjoy the old-fashioned atmosphere in the town’s beautiful cafés and boutiques or greet the animals at the Farm. At Christmas, on Halloween or during winter holidays, you can experience Särkänniemi's Doghill in a whole new way.

Nuuksio Reindeer Park – Summer

Nuuksio Reindeer Park is Finland's southernmost place to see reindeer. The reindeer park is open in the summer from Tuesday to Sunday 12pm – 4pm. Entrance fee includes lichen for the reindeer and coffee, tea or juice with buns over an open fire. Commuter trains: S, U, L, E Helsinki-Espoo + bus no 85(A) to Nuuksio. Welcome!

Brain Package to Heureka

Heureka – The Finnish Science Centre provides joy of discovery and fun experiences for all ages! Heureka introduces the public to science and technology in an engaging and interactive way. Visitors can experience the joy of discovery through spectacular exhibitions, planetarium films and events. This package includes an overnight stay in Hotel Arthur, a buffet breakfast and one entrance ticket to the Science Centre.

Adventure Island

As soon as you reach the Adventure Island, get hold of your Treasure Map and start your own holiday adventure! The Treasure Map gives you tips guiding you step-by-step towards the Adventure Island treasure. To get there, however, you have to complete 6 different tasks. While looking for the treasure, you learn new skills. Tasks in the treasure hunt can be adjusted according to age and the seasons.

Winter Day in the Countryside

Are you interested in seeing the daily life here in Lapland, surrounded by snow and freezing temperatures? What are the daily winter routines and how people spend their free time in the countryside? We welcome you to the Willow Field House, to take part in our daily routines and free-time activities on our snowy home yard. Hear and learn how the Finnish way of life has acclimatised to our cold winters and snow. We will also enjoy a warm soup lunch together in our lounge.

Down on the Farm

Take a glimpse into life in the countryside. We will travel through the countryside in southern Lapland for a visit to a modern sheep farm. You will see the animals in their abodes and take part in some of the daily activities at the farm. The farm also houses skilled sheepdogs. During the visit, our hosts will tell us about their work and what life is like on the farm and in the countryside. As house guests, we will be served a lunch of mainly mutton and organic produce from the farm that the hostess prepares herself. Wool handicrafts made on the farm are also available for purchase.

Children's Winter Park

The Porokylä Winter Park gives the whole family a chance to play in the snow. The entrance fee includes the use of the carousel sled, snow shoes, children’s snowmobiles and toboggan slide. The cafeteria provides warm drinks, which you can enjoy by the fireplace. During Christmas, Santa will visit Porokylä and the reindeers. The park is open in December–March depending on snow conditions. See the opening hours on our website!

Treetop Adventure at Zippy

Zippy is one of the largest treetop adventure parks in Finland. Zip lines, ladders, trapezes, swings and other challenges in the middle of a beautiful forest will make your adventure experience truly memorable. The courses have different difficulty levels to ensure you get an appropriate amount of excitement and adrenaline. We also have a Kids' Land for toddlers and children. Easy to reach by public transportation or by car, Zippy is located only 6 km from the Helsinki Central railway station.

The First Escape Room in Rovaniemi

This is a real life escape room adventure, only 23 km from Rovaniemi. You are locked into a room together with a group of friends, family members or work mates and you have 60 minutes to get out. To succeed, you need to solve riddles, puzzles and mysteries, working together as a team. Everybody can do it! No physical force is needed, just observation skills and creative thinking. Look forward to an hour of intense excitement and lots of insights! This is so fun that you'll forget the rest of the world for a full hour. ​

Active Family Week

This active week is fun for the whole family! You get to see friendly Huskies, bounce around at Angry Birds Activity Park, and ski – even in the summertime – at the Vuokatti ski tunnel! Accommodation included!

Splash Package to Serena Water Park

Serena is the largest year-round water park in Scandinavia. Visitors of all ages enjoy Serena’s tropical climate and the numerous impressive activities – there's enough even for a full day! This package includes a day-bracelet for Serena Water Park, overnight in Hotel Arthur and a breakfast buffet.

Excursion to Santa Claus Village

Santa Claus Village is a magical place all year round, for both children and adults alike. After posting letters at Santa's Post Office, you can buy gifts and souvenirs. In winter, you can experience a short safari in a sleigh pulled by reindeer or huskies and ride a sledge downhill. Of course, you will meet Santa Claus and share your dreams and wishes with him. Don't forget to cross the Arctic Circle! Take a photograph of this important event and remember to get a certificate as a proof. Afterwards we will visit Santa Park, a unique Christmas-themed amusement complex built in a cave.

Adventure Park Ticket

Laajis has one of the biggest adventure parks in the nordic countries. The area has more than 1km of climbing courses in the forest and +1km climbing on the poles in the open ground with long zip lines and challenging elements. Be sure to check out our superb bikepark and frisbeegolf opportunities also.

Treetop Adventure

Whether on your own or with a friend or group, you will always be welcome to enjoy an experience of wild adventure at Treetop Adventure Huippu. Or why not spend an unforgettable day out with your colleagues or team? To top off the day, we offer delicious outdoor meals and packages with team building activities or meeting facilities through our partners. All adventurers should be at least six years old. The required minimum height is 100 cm. Tackling challenges on the high rope courses is not recommended during pregnancy.

Family Self-drive Tour in Finland: Naantali, Åland and Helsinki

This is an amazing adventure holiday for a family with children under 12 years! You will make a roundtrip in western Finland starting from Helsinki and experience the lake life in Lohja, make a visit to the Moominworld as well as Kastelholm castle. To top the trip off, there will be an activity day spent in SmartPark. Last but not least, the journey finishes with two days cruising around Helsinki.
