Adventure Island

As soon as you reach the Adventure Island, get hold of your Treasure Map and start your own holiday adventure! The Treasure Map gives you tips guiding you step-by-step towards the Adventure Island treasure. To get there, however, you have to complete 6 different tasks. While looking for the treasure, you learn new skills. Tasks in the treasure hunt can be adjusted according to age and the seasons.

Adventure Park Ticket

Laajis has one of the biggest adventure parks in the nordic countries. The area has more than 1km of climbing courses in the forest and +1km climbing on the poles in the open ground with long zip lines and challenging elements. Aqua Park

Aqua Park Flamingo offers thrilling moments for all lovers of action-packed water games. Inside the water park, you will find different kinds of pools and slides, as well as our pool side restaurant, Spa Cafe, which is licensed to serve alcohol. In connection with the showers, there is also a Finnish sauna. Come and experience our dizzying water slides or enjoy yourself in the warm waters of our pools. Happy, sunny moments for every day of the year!

Arctic Adventure Park Huima

The Arctic Adventure Park Huima is located right at the Arctic Circle and it has ten different courses of varying difficulty – up to seven meters above ground. Adventurers move between living trees using ropes, beams, bridges and nets that are spanned from tree to tree. Arctic Adventure Park Huima – Great fun for the whole family!

Brain Package to Heureka

Heureka – The Finnish Science Centre provides joy of discovery and fun experiences for all ages! Heureka introduces the public to science and technology in an engaging and interactive way. Visitors can experience the joy of discovery through spectacular exhibitions, planetarium films and events. This package includes an overnight stay in Hotel Arthur, a buffet breakfast and one entrance ticket to the Science Centre.

Family Fun at Kirjurinluoto Park

Kirjurinluoto is a lush park area right by the city centre of Pori. It is a popular location for summer frolicking and a great family destination. You can reach Kirjurinluoto by car or foot or take the fun city train Poritar. The three-hectare play park for children, traffic park, exhibition gardens, scenic outdoor routes, a beach by the river and a chance to encounter various animals – this park provides things to do for days. The park and play areas are free to enter and use.

Family Self-drive Tour in Finland: Naantali, Åland and Helsinki

This is an amazing adventure holiday for a family with children under 12 years! You will make a roundtrip in western Finland starting from Helsinki and experience the lake life in Lohja, make a visit to the Moominworld as well as Kastelholm castle. To top the trip off, there will be an activity day spent in SmartPark. Last but not least, the journey finishes with two days cruising around Helsinki.

Fazer Visitor Centre

Fazer is a 125-year old, international, family-owned business offering quality bakery, confectionery, biscuit and grain products as well as food and café services. The new Fazer visitor center is a result of Finnish design and houses an exhibition, a Fazer Café and a shop. It also offers meeting and event services from cooking classes to children’s birthday parties and weekend brunches. The well-known Fazer produce, long history, corporate responsibility and innovations give food for many an interesting story. These stories are told during the 1-hour guided tours.

Fell Lapland Visitor Centre for Kids and Families

Various programs for families are organized at the Visitor Centre, including exhibitions for kids and families. Outdoors, the Jyppyrävaara hill rises directly behind the Nature Centre and the Jyppyrä Trail (1.6 km) leads to the top, offering excellent views of the national park. Jyppyrä is suitable for cache orienteering and frisbee golf in the snow-free season. Participants search for caches marked on a map in the area near the Nature Centre. The Nature Centre will provide the maps and other materials. Suitable for school groups and families.


Flowpark is an ecological adventure park, where you can put your wits and fitness to the test. Our adventure courses have been built with live trees, doing no harm to the flora. You can negotiate various obstacles in the treetops, at heights of up to 20 metres. The tasks are high-rope courses that feature swinging bridges, zip wires, swings, and lianas. Flowpark is designed for everyone older than six who have an adventurous streak, and it is guaranteed to offer fun challenges to newbies and old hands alike!

Indoor Adventure Park Naurusaari

It isn’t always necessary to travel far to have a good time. Inside the Flamingo leisure world, there is an archipelago-themed indoor adventure park named Naurusaari (Island of Laughter) where children can play and have fun. Here you can play until you drop – and afterwards you can always take a dip in Flamingo Spa's Aqua Park! We have created a safe play environment in cooperation with Lappset. Their equipment is perfect for dangling, climbing, bouncing, dancing, or whatever you can think of! We also have a Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming area.

Linnanmäki Amusement Park

The Linnanmäki Amusement Park has entertained families since 1950. The amusement park has an enormous selection of fun rides, from ultra scary to more easy-going. The vintage wooden rollercoaster is over 50 years old and remains the park's most popular ride. Linnanmäki also has many arcade halls with the latest games as well as an outdoor stage with entertaining performances. The park has been supporting child welfare work in Finland for over 60 years. We recommend a one-day wristband which includes all rides – have fun!


Welcome to visit us – you will see that the Moomin island offers plenty to see, do and experience. In the summer we can all hug when we meet and have fun together. That's what Moomins are here for! You can also see the new plays in Theatre Emma, attend the Witch's exciting flying school or take a look at the new decorations inside Moominhouse. And when you need some rest, Moominworld has about a dozen restaurants, cafes, stalls and kiosks where you can buy food from lovely home cooked dishes to small snacks and sweets. Nuuksio Reindeer Park – Summer

Nuuksio Reindeer Park is Finland's southernmost place to see reindeer. The reindeer park is open in the summer from Tuesday to Sunday 12pm – 4pm. Entrance fee includes lichen for the reindeer and coffee, tea or juice with buns over an open fire. Commuter trains: S, U, L, E Helsinki-Espoo + bus no 85(A) to Nuuksio. Welcome!

Särkänniemi Doghill

Doghill invites visitors to step right into a fairytale world based on the work of author and illustrator Mauri Kunnas. The area is diveded into Pawhill, Town and Farm. You can see a play at Paw Theatre, enjoy the old-fashioned atmosphere in the town’s beautiful cafés and boutiques or greet the animals at the Farm. At Christmas, on Halloween or during winter holidays, you can experience Särkänniemi's Doghill in a whole new way.

Snowman World All Day Entrance

The best playgrounds in the Arctic Circle for kids and the young at heart. Snowmobiling for Kids – Himos

This is a chance for your kids to get their first experience on a snowmobile. The snowmobiles are specifically made for children and our closed track is perfect for new riders!

Stay on a Finnish Farm

Kannisto's livestock farm is an old-fashioned granny's home with modern-day comforts on the countryside. Here you have an opportunity to see food make its way from the field and pasture to the table. Tampere Art Museum Moominvalley

Moominvalley is an art museum devoted the to original drawings by writer and artist Tove Jansson. The original illustrations of the Moomin books are an essential part of the exhibition, and the three-dimensional tableaux illustrate the events of the Moomin stories. The gem of the collection is a blue five-storey Moomin House. You can feel the wisdom, humour and a healthy love of adventure of the Moomins also at the museum. Tampere Art Museum Moominvalley will close its doors 30th October 2016. The new, world’s only Moomin Museum will be opened at Tampere Hall in May 2017.
