M/S Viking Grace handed over to Viking Line

Viking Line Abp today took delivery of the Viking Grace from the STX Finland Oy shipyard. The vessel was ordered on December 22, 2010 and built in Turku, Finland. It begins service on Tuesday, January 15. The price of the vessel is approximately EUR 240 million.

A vessel that represents a totally new generation Viking Grace represents a totally new generation where modern design, future concepts, high standard of services and an overall environmental consciousness characterize the whole project. The passengers will be offered innovative experiences regarding the product and
service concepts.

Viking Line strengthens its position on the Helsinki–Tallinn route in the summer, the number of departures will be doubled! Viking Line will increase its capacity by placing M/S Isabella to the Helsinki–Tallinn route for the summer season from 6 May – 1 September 2013. Together with Viking XPRS, there will be a total of eight daily departures.
