Travel by ferry from the Market Square to one of the most unique areas in Helsinki,
Suomenlinna. The fortress, located off the coast of Helsinki, is one of the biggest sea fortresses in the world. In 1991, the Suomenlinna fortress was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List as a unique monument of military architecture. During the ferry tour you will pass the new recreational islands Vallisaari and Lonna

You´ll meet the represantive of Allas See Pool and get a short presentation of the place.
Allas Sea Pool next to the Market Square is a new kind of spa complex inspired by the historic spa heritage of the Baltic Sea that will open gradually in Septem-ber 2016 – spring 2017. 15.00-17.00 Löyly Design Sauna. You´ll meet the represantive of Löyly and get a short presentation of the place.

10:30 Arrival in Noormarkku, the Noormarkku Works of Ahlström.
Noormarkku Works is a historic and beautiful area in the heart of Noormarkku village. Guided tour in the area including a visit in Ahlström Voyage Exhibition, Sawmill Museum, guest houses and restaurant with refreshments.
12:45 Departure from Noormarkku and heading to Pori city centre. Short city sightseeing in the city of Pori. Visit to Kirjurinluoto, a great family destination with three-hectare play park for children, exhibiton gardens, scenic outdoor routes, a beach by the river and a change to encounter various animals.

14:00 Departing from Pori city centre to Reposaari island
14:45 Island of Reposaari and late lunch at the Restaurant Reposaari, restaurant in an old wooden house
Reposaari a unique wooden house district at the seaside. Among other things the area is known for its interesting ballast plant occurences. While in Reposaari you must visit a fish food restaurant and enjoy traditional fish food.
16:15 Checking in to Yyteri Spa Hotel by the Yyteri beach.

Six kilometres of toe-sinking soft sand for sunbathing and waters far as eyes can see. 1,5 km easy hiking trip next to the Baltic Sea National park which is a very special area formed by the natural process of the glacial uplifting. During our trip we will get familiar with Finnish nature wild food: berries and mushrooms.

MONDAY 19 SEPTEMBER

8:45 Departure from Pori to Rauma (50 km).
10:00 Arrival to Poroholma (Poroholmantie 8). You will meet Rauma Tourist Information Officer Ms. Jenna Ylipuranen there. Water bus cruise to Kylmäpihlaja lighthouse island. The duration of the sea journey is about 50 min.
10:50 Visit in the Kylmäpihlaja lighthouse (inspection, hotel rooms and other premises).
Kylmäpihlaja lighthouse island, toughened by the sea and the wind, is right by the open sea. In spite of its rough characteris-tics, the island is full of life, especially during the nesting time of birds. The tower of the lighthouse is 36 metres above the sea level. The view of the open sea from the observation deck is breathtaking. The hotel rooms are located in the tower of the lighthouse and they offer a spectacular sea view.
11:30 Cruise back to the mainland.
12:30 Visit and lunch in Rauma Maritime Museum.
14:00 Guided walking tour (about 2 h, Guide Mrs. Anja Sirviö) in UNESCO World Heritage Site Old Rauma.
Tour includes main attractions, lace and hotel inspection to Hotel Cityhovi.
Old Rauma is a unique example of an old Nordic wooden town. In Old Rauma, people live, work and enjoy their free time in a historical environment. Narrow and meandering streets and lanes are characteristic of Old Rauma, following medieval routes. The district is also known for its impressive gates, wooden fences and asymmetric plots.

TUESDAY 20 SEPTEMBER

9:00 Departure from Rauma city centre to Sammallahdenmäki (20 km).
9:30 Guided walking tour (1 h) in UNESCO World Heritage Site Sammallahdenmäki.
Cairns of different size and shape were built in Sammallahdenmäki archaeological area during the broze age (1500–500BC). The most famous cairns in the area almost a square shaped “Church Floor” and the “Long Ruin of Huilu”. There is no such cairn as the “Church Floor” elsewhere in Finland, and it is exceptional in whole Scandinavia.Sammallahdenmäki is also sur-rounded by the beautiful Finnish forest.
