The Veli Ähtävä Atelier and Art Gallery shows his work in the enchanting ambience of his workshop studio. The colourful world of wooden art is displayed in the sculpturesque wood relief paintings that are unique in Finland if not the world and generate widespread acclaim.  There is a good chance that you meet the artist himself in the atelier and there is also a possibility to buy his art.

The Gallery also functions as a stage for music recitals and drama and there is a small souvenir shop.  The art gallery and atelier of Veli Ähtävä is located near Himos.  Open every day. Free entrance.
