Hotel Silverskär Åland

Have a whole island at your disposal and come to Silverskär. Ladugårds, Mellangårds, Västergårds, Södergårds and Norrgårds, these are the names of the five houses where you can stay overnight on your visit to the Silverskär island.

The old homestead Mellangårds was the home of the crown boatswain Michael Mattsson Lax, and his descendants who lived a simple and hard life as fishermen at Silverskär. Until the 1950s there was a family living year round at Silverskär.

In the newest house Ladugårds there are eight spacious and tasteful single rooms with en suite shower and toilet. Västergårds and Södergårds are first class log houses. In Norrgårds you can stay in six smaller single rooms.
All houses, which are situated within a walking distances from each other, have a shared living-room and and fully-equipped facilities.
