Jätkänkämppä Lodge and World’s Biggest Smoke Sauna

Jätkänkämppä is an authentic lumberjack lodge from the 1950s and the pride of Rauhalahti . Built of hand-hewn logs, the lodge used to function as a lumberjacks’ base in the district of Nurmes in eastern Finland. Herer you can bathe in the world biggest smoke sauna (up to 70 persons at a time can enjoy its gentle heat) and enjoy a typical Finnish evening with food and dance.

The tradtional Finnish evenings are organised on Tuesdays all year round and also on Thursdays in the summer (Mid June-End of August).
