Reindeer Herding and Culture

Get familiar with the reindeer husbandry in Savukoski, Lapland. Depending on the season, we can visit a reindeer farm and try a sleigh ride on a snowy track or enjoy the midnight sun with the newborn calves while the herders gather animals to corrals for ear-marking. A nice chat with a local reindeer herder is a must.
