Snow-based Sports in Tunnels in Vuokatti

Vuokatti offers unique year-round possibilities for skiing and snowboarding thanks to the world’s first ski and snowboarding tunnels. Moreover, Vuokatti’s snowboarding tunnel enables snowtubing, which is very popular with families.

The ski tunnel is 1210 meters long. The air conditioning and cooling systems keep the temperature in the tunnel normally within the range -5ºC … -9ºC.

The half-pipe snowboarding tunnel is 80 metres long and 20 metres wide and it is located at the Vuokatinrinteet ski-slopes. The tunnel is inclined at 14º and the air temperature is -5ºC. The 10 metres high tunnel allows even the wildest jumps and tricks.
