Snow Fun Activities in Northern Lapland

Snow Fun activities – cross-country skiing & snowshoeing in Northern Lapland! Learn different techniques of cross-country skiing and how to use the snowhoes. Visit Siida – the Sámi Museum and Northern Lapland Nature Centre. Feed reindeer and try “Lappish lassoing”, a traditional reindeer herders’ skill. Sámi culture and snowmobiling – the safari will take you to the famous island “Ukko” (“Äijih”), an ancient sacrificial site of the Inari Sámis or to the wilderness church of Pielpajärvi (build 1760).
