Viikinsaari Recreational Island

Viikinsaari is a summer recreation island for the whole family only a 20-minute boat trip away from the Tamperecity centre. You can go there for a picnic or experience one of the many events held there over the summer. The boats leave from the Laukontori harbour every hour during the summer months.

The island has beaches, playgrounds and gaming fields. There is also a public campfire site and a sauna that can be heated by arrangement.
