Varjola Guest House

Varjola Guest House

Varjola is a traditional Finnish farm which nowadays is a house full of old-time hospitality. It is situated in the village of Kuusa, near Laukaa, 27 km from Jyväskylä.

On the premises there is accommodation, restaurant, meeting facilities and six different types of sauna from the traditional smoke sauna to a tent sauna.

The nearby Kuusaankoski rapids form a perfect background for fishing. The following species of fish can be caught in the waters of Kuusaankoski by spinning or fly fishing: grayling, trout, perch, pike, ide, frehwater salmon and whitefish.

The new Riihihuvilat villas near the foaming rapids, a stone throuw from the main building of Varjola, offer high quality accommodation. Four separate villas, each with room for 8-16 persons.
