Foreign travel and spending in Finland increase for 2016

April 5, 2017
International travel to Finland increased to a total of 7.7 million visits in 2016. A visitor survey commissioned by Visit Finland, part of Finpro, indicates that international visitors also spent more money, up 5 percent from 2015. Overall, international visitors brought in €3.9 billion in revenue comparable to export. Visits to Finland from abroad increased by 2 percent in 2016, according to a new visitor survey by Visit Finland. Helsinki-Tallinn route’s Tallink - a new terminal building at Helsinki West Harbour

Dear Valued Partner, We are happy to announce that a new terminal building at Helsinki West Harbour will be opened on Monday 27th of February 2017. Helsinki-Tallinn route’s Tallink Shuttle ships Star and new LNG powered ship Megastar will be departing from/arriving to West Harbour terminal 2 (T2) in Helsinki from Monday 27th of February 2017 onwards. Our Helsinki-Tallinn route’s cruise ship Silja Europa will continue to operate from the current terminal building, West Harbour terminal 1 (T1).
