Visit Finland shortlisted for Routes Europe 2018 Marketing Awards

Visit Finland together with its aviation partners has been recognized as one of the six destinations in the running for the prestigious Routes Europe 2018 Marketing Awards.

Visit Finland is among the six destinations that, following a competitive voting process, were recognised by their airline partners for their outstanding achievements in route development marketing. The Routes Marketing Awards are highly regarded as the most prestigious awards in the aviation industry as they are voted for and judged by the airline network planning community.

In it’s role as the national authority on tourism Visit Finland promotes international travel to Finland by developing Finland’s accessibility through innovative destination marketing and global sales promotion.

“Visit Finland works closely together with Finavia, the airlines and travel industry partners around the world. Travel to Finland was growing 15% last year and the statistics for the first part of the year show that growth continues. Without our partners the success would not be possible”, says Head of Global Sales Promotion Heli Mende from Business Finland’s Visit Finland unit.

The winners will be revealed at the Routes Europe Networking Evening in Bilbao on 23 April 2018.
