Finland’s location in the crossroads of west and east provides a great opportunity for Asian travellers to experience Finland en route to Europe. StopOver Finland introduces new easily reachable packages and services from 5 hrs to 5 days stopover. It offers Finnish highlights from Northern Lights to Midnight Sun, relaxing moments in the pure Finnish forests, lakes and sauna, shopping Finnish design and meeting Moomins and Santa Claus. StopOver Finland menu has been launched 2016.

What?

The goal of Stopover Finland program is to develop Finland as a stopover location for passengers travelling via Helsinki Airport by building attractive packages from few hours transfer to several days stopover. Stopover Finland product menu will include 50 easily reachable packages and services, such as accommodation and activities, in different parts of Finland. Stopover travellers can experience Finnish highlights from Northern Lights to Midnight Sun, relaxing moments in the pure Finnish forests, lakes and sauna as well as shopping Finnish design items and meeting the familiar Finnish characters such as Moomins and Santa Claus. The product menu will be launched in 2016.

Why?

Finland´s location in the crossroads of west and east as well as the extensive route network to Asia provide a great opportunity for Asian travellers to experience Finland en route to Europe.

For whom?

Stopover Finland program targets mainly individual travellers from China, Japan and South-Korea who are travelling to other parts of Europe via Helsinki airport. The product menu will also be suitable for individual travellers from other markets.

Book Finnair flights that allow a stopover from 5 hours up to 5 days.
