All the municipalities in the Kuopio region are served by a well-maintained road network. Frequent buses and coaches also make travelling easy: as many as 17 coahces operate daily from Helsinki to Kuopio. Iisalmi and Varkaus are situated about an hour's drive from Kuopio. |
