Mustio (Svartå) Manor, in Mustio, www.mustionlinna.fi.

In 1560, the rapids in Mustio ran the ironworks founded by King Gustav Wasa of Sweden. The wooden main building in the Gustavian style was built at the end of the 18th century. Mustio’s extensive gardens include rare plants such as the Amur Corktree and the Butternut. In summer, an international antique fair and a summer exhibition take place on the premises. The fabulous ironworks milieu of Fiskars is only half an hour drive away.

Krapihovi, in Tuusula, www.krapi.fi.

Krapi estate is located amidst a nationally prestigious cultural environment in Tuusula and comprises a hotel, restaurants, a chimneyless sauna, and a large park area, offering a wide variety of activities. Krapi is located right at the starting point of the first Finnish Museum Road, Tuusula Rantatie. Homes of many famous artists of the turn of the century, such as the composer Jean Sibelius and his home Ainola and the painter Pekka Halonen and his home Halosenniemi, can be found along this road.
