The Archipelago Trail Touring
Korppoo - Kustavi

KORPO (KORPPOO) > HOUTSKÄR (25 km)
Take route 1800 from the ferry harbour to Näsby.

Houtskär is the bordering municipality to Åland. It is a small, idyllic archipelago community with good services for visitors. Please visit the Archipelago Museum or the beautiful wooden St Maria church. Spend the night in a cosy B&B.

HOUTSKÄR > INIÖ (43 km)
The longest ferry connection, about one hour, is between Mossala on Houtskär (route 1800 north) and Iniö. This connection charges a fee.

Iniö is one of Finland’s smallest counties and a real gem in the archipelago. When you arrive at Iniö you disembark in the harbour of Dalen in Norrby. The 5 km long route through Iniö continues from Dalen via Norrby (church, restaurant, shop) to Jumo. From Dalen you also have the possiblility to take a ferry to the Keistiö island. There is a short ferry trip from Norrby to the Jumo island where a number of B&B offer accommodation. From Kannvik harbour in Jumo you take the free ferry to Kustavi.

INIÖ > KUSTAVI (13 km)
The next destination is Kustavi (Heponiemi harbour) by ferry from Kannvik in Jumo (Iniö).

From there you take routes 1922 and 192 to Kustavi center. There is no fee for the ferry between Kannvik (Iniö) and Heponiemi (Kustavi).

In Kustavi (Gustavs) there are many service stops and plenty of opportunities to shop. The church with its votive ship is worth a visit. You can also take a tour by sea to the old fortress island of Katanpää or a trip to Vuosnainen for a wonderful archipelago lunch.
