If you go one way, you can take the boat from the harbour in Hakkenpää to Teersalo in Velkua for a fee. From Velkua, you can either take the ferry to Palva and Velkuanmaa or continue to Askainen (route 1930) and the historical Louhisaari Castle, which was the home of the Finnish Marshal C.G. Mannerheim. From Askainen you continue to Merimasku and Rymättylä (route 189) and the tour ends in the town of Naantali on the mainland.
