LIEKSA > NURMES (58 km) From Lieksa, take route 73 directly to Nurmes.
	The Hyvärilä Manor Hotel with its golf courses is a good fit for those looking for rest and recreation. The Bomba House and its surroundings is a multi faceted tourism centre embodying the Karelian living environment.
From Nurmes you can make an excursion to Kuopio in the middle of Northern Savo (about 130 km). Take route 75 towards Kuopio. Along the road you will find one of the best known holiday resorts in Finland: Tahko in Nilsiä. Turn right onto route 755 and follow the signs. In Tahko there is a great offering of activities: golf, riding, tennis, canoe, paddling, hiking, boating excursions and sailing, water scooter trips, jeep safaris and fishing.
NURMES > KUHMO (77 / 124 km) Here you have two Tours to choose from. Take the Midnight Sun Tour to Kuhmo, route 75 or route 6 to Valtimo and turn right onto route 5284/75 to Kuhmo. The Via Karelia Tour goes through Valtimo. Murtovaara Museum, built in the 18th century, is located along the road.
	In Kuhmo you can see the Finnish national epic Kalevala reflected in the architecture, events, research, museums and in the food.
