La generosità stagionale dei laghi, dei fiumi, del mare e delle foreste finlandesi è già un buon motivo per una visita. Salmoni, trote, salmerini, coregoni, pesce persico e lucci arricchiscono i menù nei ristoranti del posto, insieme ad un’esotica scelta di carni, come alce, anatra e francolino.
