Mini-crociere in rompighiaccio
La Sampo, uno dei pochissimi rompighiaccio per turisti del mondo, percorre l’area settentrionale del Golfo di Botnia nel porto di Kemi, a sud della Lapponia finlandese. Dopo aver operato per 30 anni come rompighiaccio nelle acque dell’Artico, la nave ha acquisito una nuova funzione – quella di trasportare i turisti in crociera per un’avventura sul ghiaccio.
La Sampo naviga da metą dicembre a metą aprile. Le escursioni sono in grado di offrire grandi emozioni anche ai turisti pił ”audaci”. Il panorama ghiacciato dell’Artico, l’oscuritą invernale, il ghiaccio scoppiettante e i limpidi cieli stellati, spesso protagonisti dello spettacolo dell’aurora boreale, regalano brividi a non finire.
