I Finland har spa-behandlinger opplevd en renessanse de senere årene. I dag er et spa-anlegg et moderne hotell med tidsmessig spesialutstyr og en stab bestående av bl.a. leger og sykepleiere. Spaene er som regel overnattingssteder med ulike typer helsebad, naturlige behandlinger og kroppsterapi. I tillegg tilbys ofte kosmetologiske behandlinger.

Spahotell Nådendal er blitt kåret til årets beste konferansehotell i Finland. Årets konferansehotell 2008 ble offentliggjort i forbindelse med reiselivsmessen Matka 2008 i Helsinki messesenter 17. januar.
